Battleship, in SPACE

Description
Play an adaptation of the popular game Battleship in Space Engineers!

Battleship is a strategy-based board game played by 2 players in which each player places 5 ships on an 8x8 board that only they can see. They then take turns guessing where the other player placed their ships, 1 square at a time. Upon a 'hit', the attacking player learns the type of ship that was hit.

In this version, the 5 ships are as follows:
Carrier - Carrier, 5 tiles
Frigate - Battleship, 4 tiles
Cruiser - Cruiser, 3 tiles
Prowler - Submarine, 3 tiles
Destroyer - Destroyer, 2 tiles

This version of the game can be played with 0-2 human players, with the other 2-0 players being AI. AI can be set to Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty, and work purely through probability (they will not cheat!). Turn timers are available, ranging from 30 seconds to 300 seconds, and can be turned off. Pausing is available.

Although this version of the game uses LCD panels as the boards, it also allows for the use of Real Ships! Using real ships is slower, but adds to the fun of the game. By default, the game plays with ships and allows for the player to destroy them, which uses a modified version of the Vigilance Driver Cannon. The "See Opponent's Choice" only makes it such that you can see which tile your opponent is currently selecting to fire upon.

The world has 3 mods installed, though the Jump Drive Critical Explosion mod is not required.

The world has 10 ship blueprints you should subscribe to if you want to be able to reset the game. To reset the game, place the ships at least 50m spaced apart from each other, on opposite sides of the Hub, facing towards the Hub. They will automatically link with the station.

Game is best played with Signals switched Off.

To manually blow up one of the ships, please go into the ship's control menu and enter "detonate" into the Programmable Block. This will initiate the detonation sequence.

If you are experiencing lag spikes, exit the hub and fly around a bit. This will force the ships to fully load in, and should fix the issue.
If the cannon is stuck in "aiming" mode, go into the control panel and max out the Velocity of the "Yaw Rotor". After a few tries, the adjustment should be enough to fix the issue.

Manually resetting the ships generally does not work, so reload the world if you play with Destroy Ships on. Helps with lag, anyway.

All ships present in the world were designed by mlq1617 (with inspiration from various workshop ships). The ships are more-or-less armor shells with just enough functional blocks to work with the game (thrusters, gyroscopes, batteries, warheads, jump drive, decoys, antennae, programmable block, remote control, interior turret).

This is by far one of the coolest little mini-game creations I've seen in Space Engineers. I had subbed to this for well over half a year and I forgot about it, but my god this was so much more awesome than I could have guessed. Bravo!
