Vanilla Supreme Mod (for Shogun 2, ROTS and FOTS)

Description
This Mod is for Players seek an much more enjoyable Campaign (the way Total War Shogun 2 was meant to be played) while not losing the Vanilla Shogun 2 taste.
Vanilla Supreme Mod still fully compatible with Total War Saga Fall of the Samurai in cases Players do not own TW Shogun 2 and ROTS, and vice versa.

Several Campaign, Battle Tweaks & Balancing of Shogun 2 and DLCs ROTS/FOTS Included:
(Please start a new campaign so all the features in this mod can fully take effect)
  1. All weak Units were slightly buffed (Yari Samurai, Katana Cavalry, Matchlocks, All Hero Units and many more...). Underwhelmed Special Units like Fire Bomb Throwers, Siege Weapons,... were heavily buffed (not only increase their stats but also improves their projectiles accuracy).
    -Fire by Rank removed, Kneel Fire now available for Matchlocks when players complete research Attack by Fire. (in Shogun 2 campaign)
    -For ROTS Units, some of slightly underperformance units was buffed a little.
    -For FOTS Units, some extremely weak units like Wooden Cannon was buffed, obsolete Units like Rebublican Guard Cav, Samurai Hero stats were increased, Matchlock Kachi range was increased, and many more units were changed, balanced. Supression Fire ability were slightly buffed.
    All of these buffs were tested very carefully to provided a fun and diversity campaign.

  2. Ultimately Double Unit Size (double the default unit size).
    -Starting campaign armies (included rebel armies, invasion armies and Ashikaga shogunate's armies) are also doubled. But weak clans(unplayable clans) starting armies size remain the same as vanilla in order to make strong clans grow stronger and more realistic to their strength).
    -If Fps drops appear, just change unit size back to Large or Normal in In-game settings.

  3. Battles slightly tweaks, combat now remain a bit longer thus Players will have more time in micro-management and troops maneuvering during fights.
    -Cavalry now truly earn their purpose like which is on real battlefield: FLANK!!!, weak infantries with low morale will much more vulnerable to cavalry if their flanks was not protected carefully.
    -For the Siege-Battles, Arrow Towers is stronger which provide a reliable support for defense forces. The chance that Ashigarus fall when climbing wall slightly increases - therefore encourage player using Siege-Weapons, which was considerd underpower in vanilla shogun 2.

  4. AI Diplomacy carefully Tweaks, Allied Clans now more reliable to player in long terms, but Enemy Clans still dangerous and aggressively attack.
    -Realm Divide now occur a little bit later (Vanilla Realm Divde pops up too soon, even when your Clan is relatively weak). And long-standing Allies will tend to stay with player's side. Make Vassal now worth considering because it provided a small delay to Realm Divide progression.

  5. Lower the amount AI cheats in Legendary Difficulty (AI cheats not entirely removed to maintain enough challenge for the player).
    -Auto-Resolve features improvements from DarthMod. Auto resolve now not easy as before, player will be forced to play carefully and join real battles as much as possible. This provide some challenges in the beginning, but more fun and less tedious in long-term playing when players tend to auto-resolve everything with minimum losses.

  6. Add more bonuses to Clan's Shogunate when Player become Shogun, but not too much to prevent Players just take Kyoto and steamroll all-over Japan without a sweat.
    *** TAKEDA GREAT GUARD (recruit from Bajutsu Master Dojo) and MORI NIHON MARU (recruit from Drydock) now available for players when they play Takeda (or Mori) and their daimyo become Shogun.
    (But keep in mind that Great Guard and Nihon Maru given from the Kyoto stay the same - due to the fact that they were from the Ashikaga, now they follow their new Shogun).

  7. Slightly increase some Senguko-Jidai Clans bonouses (Chosokabe, Hojo, Mori, Date, Tokugawa, Uesugi, Hattori).

  8. Tokugawa / Hattori Kisho Ninjas bug fixed, their Kisho Ninjas stats are higher. All Clan's Kisho Ninjas now throw their bombs more accurate but their ammunition all decreased to 2 (to prevent Players who abuse Kisho Ninja bombs and abandon Fire Bomb Thowers).

  9. Some General/Daimyo traits bugs were not noticed by CA and remained in the base game are fixed (For example some traits like Brave, Bloodthristy, etc not increase the amount of effect when trait level increased) and fix some traits that were impossible to get.
    -Arrow (Bow) sound like cannon bug fixed.

  10. More Campaign Years (for S2, ROTS, FOTS) + Extend Camera Zoom-out
And many more small and tiny tweaks in Campaign to make the gameplay healthier.

!!! WARNING: This is an enhancement mod for the base game so it will NOT FULLY COMPATIBLE with others Overhaul Mods, Campaign Map Expanded Mods, New Playable Factions Mods, New Units Mods (like DarthMod, Ultimate Immersive Mod, Master of Strategy, etc)
- If player combine these mods with this mod, unit size will not work correctly, starting armies in some situation will not be doubled.

5. bruh what? have u never played legendary? u auto lose all auto resolve or get phyric victory and lose all ur troops if u do win lol

this mod sounds perfect, but need a version that does not increase unit sizes. the "weak" clans were not really weak at all... :lunar2020halodragon:

I hope you can fix the issues that Ardyn has laid out.

This mod is amazing. Just gonna mention a few issues:

1. It breaks some sounds in the campaign, e.g. winter music in spring, hallowed ground makes "moo" sound when you click it.
This is weird and I don't know why it happens. It goes away if you delete every file that mentions building/sound/season with the mod manager. These files are overall untouched by this mod, so you don't lose anything.

2. Markets cost +1 food. I get why this is done, but it makes food so sparse that it begs you to rush Chonindo in every campaign.
Most notably, it breaks the Tokugawa campaign with an unnecessary food shortage.

3. The upkeep that the player pays is significantly lower than it used to be for difficulty >= hard. I feel this makes the player a bit too rich. Maybe increase it by 5-10%?

4. The extra Chosokabe farm income seems like a bad idea. It gives them about +200 wealth to every settlement, even unupgraded (compared to other clans). For upgraded rich settlements, it can even go up to +600.

@Gleen Cross I have just finished making a mod that starts the game 15 years later with the Tokugawa and Oda force allied, Ieyasu, Nobunaga and Yoshishige have replaced their fathers as ruler. It will not be compatible with this mod, but I could make it 12 turns per year. I haven't uploaded any mods yet, but if you're still interested I'll try to upload it to the workshop soon.

I know this mod is dormant just like the game itself, but it doesn't hurt to ask... It's possible to include a submod that alters the start position of Oda and Tokugawa, making Tokugawa the vassal of Oda?

Ages ago there was a mod who did just that, but there's no such thing anymore in the Steam Workshop, neither in TW Center... so, can anyone resurrect that mod? It's such a waste to see either Oda or Tokugawa getting erased in 2 turns

Nvm somehow fixed it. I disabled RemasterSashimonos 1&2 and RemasterFlags and it worked, but I tried enabling those again and it still works... Im so confused
