Human Variety

Description
Human Variety adds 32 new male and female clothing options to human pops and leaders. Outfits are assigned to pops based on their individual ethics, meaning the population of two planets controlled by different empires can end up looking very different. Additionally, the mod includes the 2 new female hairstyles and altered asian female appearance from the UNSC Outfit Replace mod. It replaces the base human appearance and will conflict with other mods that do the same or alter the pre-designed species.

Art assets were collected from several excellent mods I have used at one point or another in the past, and I tweaked a few of them to correct clipping errors or smooth rough outlines. I am not the original creator of any of the new art assets, and credit should go to the authors of the mods I used:

If you'd like to swap portraits around or add in assets from another mod, the process is relatively simple. First create a submod from the Stellaris launcher ( http://www.stellariswiki.com/Modding ) and then copy this mod into the newly created mod folder. You can find this mod at:
[STEAM DIRECTORY] \SteamApps\workshop\content\281990\1074841707
Once that's done, you can navigate to \gfx\models\portraits\human and replace old assets with the ones you want to use. If you want to replace a vanilla asset or add new ones without replacing anything, you'll need to edit the clothing textfiles at \gfx\portraits\asset_selectors. You can search for the filename of a vanilla asset and replace it, or add new portraits to existing categories. Once all that's done, all you have to do is restart the Stellaris launcher, disable this mod and enable your new submod.

This mod STILL WORKS in 4.0 Biogenesis. You MUST use it with *Remastered Human Portraits: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1591647610 .

Load this mod first and then *Remastered Human Portraits.

I only have 3 human mods installed, but they all work if loaded in this exact order:

@Lordlony probably will, cuz I notice today I got permission from another modder to use their clothing mod too. And I have permission to add Human Revolution portraits too.

So once the 4.0 is out I will probably go at it again.

But as for now I'm burned out by modding and Stellairs in general, and I'm not sure how I feel about 4.0 in general.

@alankraskow: I'd say go for it — the author probably isn't coming back. If they do and aren't cool with it, you can always pull the assets and just make their mod a requirement instead. Easy fix.

@Lordlony yes, but I didn't add his content to it, as I didn't get his permission. The mod is waiting for 4.0 so it's not released yet.

Hey man, I see your mods are outdated for some time now, and I'm currently doing rework of the human legacy and new human portraits. I would like to ask you if I could use some of your graphics, but I think you are inactive for some time now. I will do so anyways, in case you comeback or see this comment and don't wish me to use them, please let me know and I will cut them out. But for the time being they will be great addition to what I already have made.



To anyone seeing this, watch out for my new mod. Soon gonna release the first version. Already have reworked both human races and have 55 new faces for each genders in both groups, which in total gives 220 new faces!!!

For rename "humans1/humans2":
open 00_top_countries.txt in "prescripted_countries" folder and rename that as you wish (lines 2 and 71).

I just deleted "prescripted_countries" folder =)

P.S.: This is just my proposed solution, which I got by adjusting the mod files. At least this is how I solved the issue for myself.

Now I have Humans1 and Humans2 as extra hard coded species.... Any way to fix it?
