It is mindblowing to build gundam with mixed parts from pretty much all of the gundam franchise, it's even wilder to be able to fight with it!

It is my first Gundam Breaker, but definitely not my last.

I played this game for a couple of years around 2005 ish to 2008 ish. Sometime around 2014 I checked up to see if it still existed and to my surprise it did. Now almost 2 decades later I noticed that it is on Steam, it has the same formula and it is fairly enjoyable!

It is free to play, but definitely pay-to-win on normal servers. On speed servers you don't stand a chance unless you have familiarized yourself with the game.

It is essentially an idle game where you build troops and build resources or you plunder them. The tutorial on the normal servers will guide you through it quite well. It is a colonization and war simulator game though. Sometimes wars can take literal months before it is fully over. For example top tribes wiping each other. In the speed servers things go much faster as the time is multiplied by 200-ish. This is what makes it enjoyable for me. Rather than waiting to do the next step I can play it to my heartscontent for a couple of hours and then again the next day. So it is less of a management hassle and more of a strategic game.

Give it a try, it is free and within 15 minutes you will know if it is something for you or not.

I miss the good old funorb times. I have been playing this for a couple of months/years pre-steam release. The devs are hard working and got a solid deal with Jagex, so for the veterans wondering, this is a game that will stay.

For the new folks, give it a swing, it's free and has an amazing community!

The concept is pretty simple, collect parts, build bots, dominate the game.

Early Access Review
Pocketpair really outdid themself! Absolutely worth every penny. If you enjoyed Craftopia and Pokemon you will fall in love with this game, truly amazing to start an underpaid sheep labour industry while feeding chickens their own eggs.

Honestly the first 10-20 hours are very enjoyable and for a free to play game it is very impressive. It is the time period that it hooks you and once you are hooked you will notice the flaws due to the monetization model.

The game is pay to win and the DLC's for it are priced very expensively. Sure you can look at it like a battlepass, but also compare the price then of the battle pass compared to other games. In Bungie's defense, it does offer a lot of content. On the other hand, it is content that will be removed eventually as well... so take it how you want.

That being said, the first 15 hours were a lot of fun, I enjoyed it, but more than that isn't worth it.

As a mech lover and someone that enjoys Gundams, I have been waiting a very long time for a game like this! When you pick this game up, dont focus on a singular build, you will be hot swapping parts to figure out the best strategy for beating various opponents.

It is a fantastic game with epic battles and your mecha is pretty much fully customizable. The narrative is also pretty interesting. This is my first AC game but I have no trouble following it or getting used to the gameplay.

While the game is good generally speaking (especially for new players) I can not recommend it simply due to it being from Blizzard. Like many other reviews this is a take against the company and not the product, but it does affect the product, since every single sale and download will fuel and motivate their anti consumer practices.

It feels like they made a poor decision development wise and that is ok, even for Blizzard, in the end of the day it are just people like you and me working on this title. However instead of acknowledging their mistake they rather decided to ignore it and heavily focus on the monetization model of something that they shouldn't monetize as heavy, at least not for people that were OW 1 players.

Hello Games similarily made a grave error when it came to publishing No Man's Sky and they knew it. They accepted their mistake and they fixed it, not only did they fix it, they delivered one of the most incredible experiences out there for people that enjoy those type of games. NMS did a massive 180, one that has been followed by none.

Hello Games and Blizzard are the extremities in the gaming industry that show the difference between caring for your product and the customers versus caring for the investors and the big fat yearly bonus.

OW 2 has a less toxic community than OW 1, which is good, but I think that this is caused due to the community receiving plenty of toxicity from Blizzard.
