It's a cute and fun game with plenty of creative mechanics in it for a deckbuilder.

The devs are actively working on it and improving it currently on a day-by-day pace, which is honestly incredible!

If you are into the likes of Slay the Spire then this game might be worth checking out. It is simpler, but interesting in its own way.

One of the best and most balanced (but also broken) roguelike deckbuilders I have played to date.

It's a fun DLC, so I definitely recommend getting it, but probably not at full price. I got it from the Deluxe pre-order which was absolutely worth it.

YOU CAN PET CATS AND THEY PURR!!

Jokes aside, Hogwarts Legacy is the wizardry based game that I have been waiting on for as long as I can remember. It is a beautiful crafted world with environments that contain many secrets. The visual effects are top notch and the shaders look absolutely gorgeous. It definitely gives the right magical feeling to this game. Even though it is called Hogwarts Legacy, the world map is far more massive than just Hogwarts. You will have a blast exploring and traveling.

The graphics are top notch and definitely live up to the new ray tracing standards especially when maxed out.
The story so far definitely fits in the Harry Potter universe and can feel a bit cliché at times due to that.

The gameplay is very enjoyable and the magic battles (so far) feel quite snappy and smooth. There is still a lot for me to discover, but for now it definitely lives up to what had been promised. The puzzles vary in difficulty and some require magic in order to be solved. I think that the diversity makes it fantastic.

This game is what I dreamt of as a child.

Fantastic bullet hell. I love the art style and the overall ambience it has. The simple story it has going is quite nice as well, narrative wise it gives me some Hades vibes (which is a compliment).
The gameplay feels very smooth and you get used to it quite quickly if you are new to these type of games.

Generally speaking I am not much of a bullet hell fan, but I definitely recommend this game, even if it was paid!

Early Access Review
This is a very clean clean, let alone for a pre-alpha product. I am extremely excited and curious to see what this will evolve to.

Finally there is a puzzle game that thinks outside of the box with the challenges. I haven't felt this excited for puzzle games since I first launched Portal and the Talos Principle.

Give this game a try, the puzzle mechanics are mind blowing!

On sale I'd say it's worth it. I have mixed feelings about the game. It has many bosses, it has a decent story (just an opinion), and is has a decently sized world.

It took me 12 hours on my first playthrough to finish the game.

So I decided to give adventure mode a swing at higher difficulties... the thing is that the difficulty scaling just makes getting hit more punishing and it makes the bosses bullet sponges, or any enemy for that matter on apocalypse. I don't consider this to be "difficult", I consider it to be a time waste. It is in the same boat as jump scares being categorized as "horror".

Does that mean that the game is no fun? Absolutely not. It just would've been a lot more fulfilling if a higher difficulty meant that the bosses would get actually more difficult. For example new mechanics, attacks etc. Up until the final boss they are all pretty much brain dead.

I will keep playing it for a bit more, because I want to see how broken my build can become, but playing on higher difficulties holds no merit for me. It is literally doing the same tactics, but instead of 5 minutes it takes 35-40 minutes on apocalypse. Higher difficulties also give the same rewards, other than XP. I understand that they don't want to force people to play higher difficulty game modes, but they could've made it more... difficult. Bullet sponges is not the way to go, but at the end of the day, that is just my opinion. I bet plenty of people reading this are a lot less picky than I am and for them it can be a very enjoyable experience.

What an absolute master piece, go into this game fully blind. Don't even watch the trailer. It is a roguelike deck builder with so much more, the less spoilers you have had the better it will be. Don't let the stimulations get the better of you.

Edit:
It took me 24 hours ish to complete campaign.
It took me 57 hours to reach 100%.
Every single hour was absolutely worth it.

Been using OBS since around 2015 for recording footages and since 2019 for streams as well. It is by far the best recording and streaming software you will find out there.

Some people prefer less freedom, but more out-of-the-box features and for those Streamlabs can work as well as it is build upon OBS.

Since I have custom written functionalities that for example show when keys are pressed etc. I prefer OBS over anything else. Best thing is that you can easily modify literally everything. As the name suggests, it is open source after all!
