A fun, Zelda-like roguelite game. Play a single life, amass gold, collect gear, die. When you die, a portion of your gold is retained to level up your starting pre-dungeon. Queue another random "red shirt" to play and repeat. Every dungeon is different; layout, enemies, traps, etc.

Stained glass puzzle game with good sounds and relaxing music. Some of the puzzles are challenging, most are easy-to-moderate in difficulty. There are 2 free DLC's if you're looking to hit 100% achievement (Christmas and Lunar Year).

An oddly relaxing game about unpacking a bunch of items and putting them all away.

Fun little indie sniper game. Three modes to play in: Adventure (story mode.. rudimentary story), Find (use your sniper rifle to tag hidden objects), and Elite (no zoom on scope as well as no holding your breath for a steady shot). Beat all 3 modes in roughly 3 hours. Slight replay value as some maps have different spawning locations for your marks.

There's some things they're working out, so it isn't perfect. But it has atmosphere and an enjoyable balance of RPG:Action. Looks pretty slick as well. One could pick anything apart, but the game is fun at the end of the day and even better when running around with friends.

Fun for what it is: more of a solid arcade experience. There's nothing scary about it, just a 1 to 3 player horde combat game. Essentially Killing Floor 2 but without the megaboss. Instead, you get lots of "field sergeants" to fight. Every level is fairly linear and gameplay comes in rhythmic waves.

The game gives you a talent tree to work with for character customization. You can also tinker with all your weapons to tailor your weapon. Everyone's class has something fairly interesting to offer, except maybe the doctor (in their current state, their core ability seems gimpy).

I like the overall aesthetic of the game though. The guns sound like they did in Aliens. The echo pulse from your motion tracker is spot on as well. The architecture takes on notes from the old and new movies both. The story is lacking however, at times just tacked on as "stuff you can do if you're bored". It does little to propel you through the game. Beating a mission does that.

Good pick-up on a sale.

Fun colony sim set in the wake of an apocalyptic event. Still in early access, but very playable. Many features to explore, including researching and quests.

Has a cheap, rogue-like appeal. After playing a few runs, I "beat" the game (reaching the bottom floor), only to realize that I obtained one of many bad endings. Skyhill has a merciless RNG, which will end up destroying you more often than helping you. Borders on frustratingly unfair. I've had it sway my way several times though for a fun effect. Perks make replays interesting, yet after only 3 hours of gameplay, I'm seeing repeat events and sensing interesting gameplay becoming a thing of the past, sooner than later. I do enjoy running it at higher speed to power through the game quicker though. 7/10

One of the best in the Far Cry series. Well-designed map, good voice-acting, solid graphics, and fun missions. Co-op works fairly seamlessly with little glitchiness, although we have run into a few spawning issues when the other party is in buildings, vehicles, or in conversations. Other than that, it's a great play experience. Not a difficult game, but expansive. So, this provided many hours of entertainment.
