The tutorial should ONLY have the essential items to pass the level, in order to learn.

I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of ♥♥♥♥ that was thrown in my face that wasn't necessary to the first tutorial mission.

As most games, New World had a big oof launch, this led to a stale taste in everyone's mouth.

Not enough servers could handle the crazy amount of people that played on day1, so more servers were created, and many were locked.

By locking servers you lost the ability to play with your friends, but it was necessary due to 6 hour queue times.
This was one of the main reasons I left, I bought the game to play with my friends and organised which server to join but it was too late.

I played by myself in an unknown server as server merges were announced, with a free character transfer, so I had the opportunity to play with my friends soon.

Within the first week of launch,
It felt like there was literally hundreds of bugs and exploits,
New threads popping up everyday, new PSAs from the developers stating a fix was in progress everytime.

On the second week when server merges came out, another exploit was introduced, and more people took advantage,
money dupes.
the coin economy was double ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I quit for several weeks after reaching lvl 40, thinking there would be a rollback or a statement on where we go from here, but the game played out as normal.
Everyone was filthy rich.

I played for 2 days and tried to forget the exploit and just have fun, buuut there was a new exploit on Reddit daily.
Instead of levelling skills, people were making guides and levelling the money cap.

Game was cooked, and I wasn't interested in sticking around.

Came back exactly 1 year later,
Last attempt.

The gane seems to have improved, haven't seen any exploits yet,
No idea on the economy, it doesn't feel like the filthy rich ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stuck around, and if they did it's not affecting anything from what I can tell.

I recommend New World now, it's pretty addicting.

Good game, really well designed,

but A LOT of frustration due to broken mechanics, unspoken rules you're not aware of, and a few Glitches that you won't know about until you waste hours of your time on a Puzzle.

If you can't beat a Chamber in under 20 minutes, you'll never beat it.

You're required to use your Portal to activate a Cube which is then sent through a Dimension portal which comes out of the other Dimensional Portal and acts as a momentum slingshot between two timezones.
I don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ kind of Puzzle this was, but it's 100% something NOBODY would know to do without watching a walk-through video.
This is on an entirely different playing field compared to the previous Puzzles.

It's not a difficult Puzzle, it's designed to be an absolute joke and more of a Glitch in a speed-run.

Portal Reloaded teaches you throughout the game that only certain platforms will allow the Dimensional Portal to be placed, this is to stop you breaking the game I assumed.
In Chamber 17 there's a small room that past experiences make you fully aware that the Dimensional Portal can ONLY be allowed in this room.

.... ho ho ho .... As it turns this rule is entirely altered without telling you.
The green barriers you walk through 'activates' your Portal Gun which allows you to fire a Dimensional Portal.
So all that needed to be done was to enter it, and portal out, literally 3 seconds of work.
This was intentional on the Developers just to ♥♥♥♥ you up, rather than place this green barrier at the start of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level.
Knowing this would of saved an hour of time wasting into a simple 5 minute completed Puzzle

How I figured out about the green barriers was from committing to watch a walk-through video, where the guy placed his Portal on a surface that is INVALID for my game and I questioned my sanity.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ team behind Portal Reloaded again didn't explain something, that it's possible to place Laser Platforms on their SIDES as a form of blocking mechanic for Turrets,
This is possible based on the angle you're looking, as well as the wind direction and if it's a leap year.

Cube shrunk. Puzzle unsolvable.
But this time I knew I wasn't doing something wrong because It's expected from this game.

The linear gameplay is fine, the combat is fine.
I'm just completely bored from an hour of playing based on the dialogue alone.

The words used from these Techno Program NPCS are supposed to make them seem like an artificial intelligence, with their strange lingo and cult-like sentences describing a great Prophecy.
I don't care about all that.
What I care about is a basic understanding on what they're trying to say to me as a Player through their weird sentences, I can't comprehend ANYTHING they're saying.

It feels like I've walked in late on a business meeting, they're all in suits everyone is serious,
I've missed half the meeting. I have no idea what the actual ♥♥♥♥ is going on, and the more I try to understand the more I'm falling asleep.

The Story is a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ failure.

Good fun. Isaac vibes.

Last boss is crazy hard, need a lot of rng buffs at the same time.
I've put the game on hold and have yet to beat him.

Half Damage + Double Jumps + Explosive Weapons etc.

Decent, quite enjoyable.
But it's not worth playing if you haven't got an organised lobby with your Friends prior to installing, as there's never anybody else playing.

But once you're in, it's super fun.

It's annoying the way they casually use terms you literally have no idea what they mean, so you just go along with the story blind.

I have no idea what's going on half the time,
