How is anyone supposed to enjoy the game at its fullest with this DLC price?

These new divisions utterly destroy the previous balance of urban warfare by having squads that are too large with too many bonuses in comparison with others.

Really solid game. If you enjoy combat in the Civilisation series and want a game purely focused on that element, this will do it. The AI doesn't pull any punches and the game remains difficult throughout.

That said, additional options give a chance to play more or less how you want to, and you won't be punished for it. Flashback Games have definitely taken this in a good direction in terms of challenge and accessibility.

Game of the year.

Just incredibly fun and everything I wanted it to be.

Yeah, it's a good game. I came from Warno and it's a similar experience.

However, there are some QOL elements that could be borrowed from Warno, in terms of UI and controlling units. I also think it's a shame that transports can't be used after the units have disembarked.

Doesn't live up to the hype.

Don't get me wrong - the basic gameplay is good (apart from some horrific difficulty spikes). But the story? Oh boy. The level of stupidity these characters display is incredible, and in the case of Vincent you ultimately feel like you have no control in the end. The Law/Chaos meter is an enigma and something that feels one way will end up being the other.

In the end, very shallow, with men being shown as completely useless alcoholics and women seen as either promiscuous or domineering. 2 dimensional - literally.

I'll recommend it on the basis that it is a good quality game. You can tell the art direction has a lot of effort put into it.

However, this is definitely not like Company of Heroes 2, and if you're looking for an RTS like it, it won't fill those boots.

It plays a lot more like an old school RTS. Cover mechanics don't really have utility.
