As of updating this review, this is one of very, very few games I've ever gone for 100% achievements in. I love this game that much. If you enjoy rhythm games, please do yourself a favor and try this game. Even the base game is great fun, but there's already a staggering amount of quality fanmade content out there to sink your teeth into if you want even more trombone goodness.

The only nitpick I have is that keyboard input is a little janky, but the InputFix mod works wonders.

This is the first time I've ever looked forward to the vehicle sections.

Seriously though, this mod is fun as hell and i highly recommend it.

I remember playing this game on my dad's laptop when I was little and having a ton of fun with it. I had no idea it got a Steam release until a couple days ago when I tried to find it again!

It's not VRChat.

I really wish there was a "Maybe" option for whether or not I recommend this game because, while I genuinely had a great time with it, that enjoyment definitely came with some hefty baggage in the form of severe bugs and poor design decisions that may or may not be a deal-breaker for you. As such, I wouldn't generally recommend this game unless it's to someone I know has at least some tolerance for BS. There's definitely a fun game in here though, and once this game gets some patches, I'll probably change my rating to Yes.

UPDATE: I tried expanding this into a very long, comprehensive review about what I liked and didn't like and why the last sentence in my original review is no longer true, but Steam apparently ate that edit and I am NOT typing all that again. I appreciate that Steel Wool is going back and fixing some bugs and alleviating the 6 AM BS while they're at it, but after really considering this game as a whole package, my issues with it run a LOT deeper than the bugs and weird save system, and they would have to completely and fundamentally overhaul this game (and especially its story) for me to even consider changing my rating to Yes. Granted, you could do a lot worse, and I guess this game is fine enough in a vacuum, but it absolutely fails as a FNAF game. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I will say this: If you're at all invested in the FNAF lore, please stay away if you value your sanity.

I'm so glad I trusted my gut and decided to buy the Trilogy bundle on sale before they got yeeted off the Steam store in favor of the "remaster." For anyone reading this who doesn't already have this game on Steam, you can still get it through key resellers, but from what I've heard, they're also getting relisted on the Rockstar launcher too. It's not too late to experience this classic game the way it was meant to be played.

UPDATE: Now that I have a modern PC that won't have an aneurysm attempting to run this game, I gave it another shot and it's a ton of fun! I highly recommend it.

OLD REVIEW: My PC can barely handle this game, but I was able to play enough of it to say this is a damn good game that's definitely worth your money as long as you have a beefy PC. Unfortunately, my PC is simply too old for this game and I'm not in a position to upgrade anytime soon, so I'll probably have to wait a while before I can play through it proper.

Good game, but the PC port is jank.
Protip: Run this through Borderless Gaming so it doesn't crash when you Alt-Tab.

Also, do consider using a graphics mod to remove the piss filter; this game actually looks pretty good without it.

Very satisfying, 10/10
