Reminds me of SCP: Secret Lab
Another game which shines so much harder when you're with a smaller group of friends rather than a crowd of rag-tag strangers that charges head first into death.

It's a huge genre shift from the original game, going from linear to open world. Feels shorter in a way due to how the chapters are formed.
But it was a fun game.

Though the gameplay is totally different if that is what you're expecting after the first game. This one is rather... for the people that want to see Sebastian get total closure over what he's been through in the first game.

This mod does some really fun stuff and matches the Valve Portal difficulty very well which a lot of mods can't. Actually has new mechanics and some beautiful environments.
Only other thing is that you won't see it quickly match Valve's Portal humor, but who can, right? It's a hard, precise art.

Wonderful cute little game. I wonder how many more of these have fallen under my radar.
Though I wouldn't call it a puzzle game, more a chill point and click.

Sure, being able to just cut down everything in front of you sure feels cathartic after 15 chapters and 4 more of Evil Within gameplay. But there's nay an asset in this DLC that isn't reused. It's just an excuse to squeeze out more playtime with a strange roguelite boss rush that gives ample backstory to a monster that didn't need any.

I mean I'll admit I liked the first part more because this one is largely more of the same with dubious retcons.

It's an interesting little DLC. It focuses much more on hiding and stealth but is also spearheaded by a new director.
So all the subtlety that the original is known for is thrown out the window. All ambiguous happenings of the original are explained very clearly in this DLC.
The new directors didn't like that subtlety, I suppose...

The difficulty curve is very bad, in a very un-portal way. In part it's due to the poor execution of the new mechanic and how little introduction is given on it. I'm wondering if there was any playtesting done outside the harvard physicist demographic.

The game's pretty alright. It hasn't wowed me super but it never did anything to really turn me off. Directed by the Resident Evil series creator, it clearly takes a lot after those games. Or so, I'm told. Two thirds of the game you'll have no idea what even is going on, but then the game really starts to pick up.
I'm not used to this type of game, but personally.. it was cool.

I don't know how they did it, but this stuff is addicting. Really addicting.
For a game with only mouse two buttons as its' controls, it surprisingly doesn't get old quick at all.
