Description
Police Van For Officer Transport

UPDATED 4.6.2019. For save compatibility, in game name remains 2016 GMC Savana LAPD Police

Prisoners often need to be transported without using an patrol officer's vehicle. This allows for faster responses and more efficient use of the police force. The LAPD thus decided to purchase a Chevrolet Express for use in exactly that.

THIS IS THE POLICE Version. Lights flashes during emergency response!

Check out the LAPD Headquarters on the Workshop!

Use Service Vehicle Selector or Service Vehicle Manager (my preferred utility) to set police/prison vehicles types for your stations/prisons.

Use Invisible Spawn Points to fine tune your spawning and create more realistic depots!

@Rock, nothing planned yet for that front

it would be really cool if you made a custom border patrol skin for your police vehicals

@KombatWombat, added you on Steam, and I'm making the Pierce Velocity Pumper in June, actually it's my first project after the next bus and 2 sedans :D

I'm definitely interested in the fire engine project. If you need inspiration, a few months ago I posed in the forum suggesting an idea for a developer. Someone made a garbage truck on a very well done recreation of a Ford 'C' chassis. This chassis was built for 30 years and literally thousands of fire trucks were built on it. It would be a matter of redoing the vehicle without the garbage truck body, and retaining the chassis.

@Bravo9Actual, And I think I just want to do the VTA livery (I'll also release one without a livery, just so it can be a normal shuttle bus)

@Bravo9Actual I was thinking of just doing the East Bay Paratransit livery [www.eastbayparatransit.org] in the VTA Colors [www.mercurynews.com]

Nice! Can't wait. For liveries, just a plain jane white job with TRANSIT written somewhere on the sides or front would do wonders.

@KombatWombat I would rather not, I haven't exactly seen that many and I want to focus my efforts on the Mitsubishi Lancer or the Toyota Prius. You can, however, make a livery for this. I can provide you the template via email and if you send it back, I can credit you as an author.

If I get around to the Dodge Charger (remake) before June, I'll make a fire chief version of that car. If not, I'll be starting a fire engine project in June.

@Bravo9actual, I did a preliminary test, and the shuttle will look something like a boxy version of http://3-photos2.ebizautos.com/used-2008-chevrolet-express_3500_commercial_cutaway-shuttlebus-4820-16028030-7-640.jpg (since its literally just a few edits of my Cutaway Cargo Truck. It will have paratransit doors on the side and the windows will be cohesive so it will look like a regular shuttle bus.

Do you think you could make a fire dept. Battalion chief vehicle out of this?
