Noice! Good luck with future modding!

ahh thanks a lot greensniperhat!
Now it works without the full text from the localization files. And i see the correct entry for all languages in the list. Great! :)

like, literally, two lines in that paw_l_english.yml. Also shaves a ton of file size.

l_english:
FLAG_CATEGORY_paw:0 "Paw"

Of course, modify the language into the other languages, but these two lines are literally it.

Uh, that's not how it works. Full text copied from the localization files will overwrite the normal game's localization strings, which changes from version to version. I suggest you look at how other mods do it. You can add another .yml file in the same localization folder and it'll be read.
In its current version, you'd be making a lot of strings missing for people that still use Stellaris 1.* and 2.1.*. If you want to not conflict, I suggest making a paw_l_english.yml file, and fill it with only your strings - and then copying that for the rest of the languages.

I have update this mod....now it works fine!
I support all languages! That's why it only works with the full text in the localizations files.

Yo modmaker, you could just add the localization on a separate file (maybe like paw_l_english.yml), you don't have to copy the entire tri-state area of the localizations too - just your portrait_paw line and it'll be golden. As it is it's still making errors to this day.

Polar bears...hehe really funny!
I have no idea how to design a new species for stellaris.
But it would be a new challenge....hmm :)

thanks.. now works fine with 2.2.4 beta. yay! i'd actually prefer a polar bear empire, but stellaris has no polar bears unfortunately, and i don't think you can add in new species without breaking achievements.. so until i get a few more of them, no polar bear for me. but i do have the catlike species with a paw flag. :)

Hello
I have update this mod.
Make a big paw empire.... :)
mister_lobos 22 jan. 2019 às 7:47
not sure why, but even with 2.2.2 it says it's not compatible. :(
you'd think an emblem would not need updating.

I have fix this! :)

The problem with the labels seems to be that the mod overwrites the main localisation files. Simply remove the entire localisation folder from the mod and it should be fixed. Since it is a pure emblem mod it does not need any localisation I believe.

It appears that this mod still causes these issues.

I get simmiliar issues... for example, on the researchers, you get things like
GENDER_DESC
LEADER_SKILL_LEVEL

A conflict with other mods maybe...
Can you take a screenshot?

I really want to use these icons! However ,sadly... it seems to have a conflict, or needs to be updated. I don't know which, but it's messing with certain UII labels. I'm getting things like PLANET_AND_SYSTEM, and the machine intelligence advisor label turned to I_Machine, and the Advisor tab label spilled over into the demographics tab. There's way more that I saw but can't remember the specifics of. I'd love to use these icons but sadly they break the UI! :(
