@jamesn1027 it needs to be somewhere with wind (it's basically a wind turbine) - note that trees reduce wind, but you can turn that effect off with Quistar's Tree Anarchy mod.

For some reason, I can't get it to rotate anymore. Is it because I tried to make it a RICO Building? Removing the RICO code doesn't let it spin.

It is just working with power and wind due to the base is the water power turbine....

Hi Tomcat. Just checked and now the tower and even the airport roads are back to the plane menue. The tower is even still rotating after placingit in an area where you have wind. Many thanks for the update. For me it is now working well and as it should.

Its nothing wrong with the tower in the electricity tab. If you need to do it (i think becuase the asset is basset on a windturbine?), its fine. Just fix the bug that airport roads also counted as electricity because this make severals other objects and mods functionless. Its a very nice asset but until its fixed i cant used it.

Hi everybody. Maybe as a headsup due to I like as well the radar tower which is amazing. I did it like this:
1. subscribe the tower but deselected in the assets overview
2. finalized my airport as i wanted to have it (even with taxiways bended and so on)
3. saved and closed the game
4. went back to the assets overview to select and activate the radar tower
5. started the game again and placed the tower where I wanted to have it

This I did due to after the airport is finalized from runway and taxiway perspective there is no need anymore to place any road belonging to the functionality of the airport

But maybe the issue can be fixed from whom ever to avoid such kind of workflow

i'm having the same problem with it appearing under the electricity tab, moving airport roads there, and effectively breaking airport roads (because now you can't connect them)

Can you also check electricity menu, I experienced an issue once that it created plane tab under electiricity menu and it was there. I dont know why this happens. I will check in detail later.

First off i cant find it in the airport asset menu in game. And second it also removes the airport roads from the same menu ingame.

Rotation speed does vary depending on windspeed. If you drop it in an area with no wind, it rotates very slowly. At my airport with open space and no obstruction, there's plenty of wind and it rotates pretty fast, but not much faster than real life operational speed. However, the rotation speed happens to be perfect for my preferred speed on the speed slider mod which helps simulate realistic behavior. Gets a thumbs up from me. :steamhappy:

Since it uses advanced wind turbine as template (the reason it is able to rotate) I am not sure but turning speed might depend to wind. May be changing its position can solve. (I am not sure)
