Hey folks. Sorry for lack of updates, i thought i posted a message but seems i havent.

I dont really have the time or desire to keep the mods up, so it wont be updated. Its functionality can be found in Gigastructures, so if you want something up to date, just use that. This mod should still work on 2.2.4 and under, for legacy players.

I really hope you update this mod. There are others that get rid of the megastructure limit, but this mod does a bunch of other things I like in addition to that.

This definitely needs to be updated, it's causing clipping and the star forge does not appear in game when built.

I think what i need to do at some point is deinstall all mods and the game and reinstall.
This looks like some dead weight, dead code. At the time i got the first megastructure researched i was able to see and build it, but these variable names or whatever that is are still there, too.

As mentioned earlier i deactivated and deleted/reinstalled your mod and other mods which had anything to do with constructor/megastructures and even deactivating all and deinstalling all, did not help. So i am now quite sure it has nothing to do with your mod and i wont want to take up your time anylonger, but thank you for your effort.

got all but the latest relics and just double checked so all content is activated.
"entity offset entity_offset_MEGASTRUCTURE_DETAILS" is the first of 8 entries in the megastructure ship build menue.

In that case i think its because you dont have some DLC's. DLC checking is messy, so if you are missing some the mod might not work correctly.

sry to bother you again, i did what you adviced several times, equally also with gigastructures mod and another megastructrues mod which was but disabled anyways and is now installed. I afterwards also made a file check in steam. Sadly i still get the variable names in the megastructure selection menu of the constructor ship. One thing though, i haven't even researched megastructures yet. Maybe when i researched them later on this may clean itself up. i will let you know.

Fenris: Please unsub from the mod and then resub again. Its possible you are using an older version. This bug was fixed a while ago.

The variable string names are currently shown in the constructor ship menu instead of just the supposed names of the megastructure. Is it possible that has to do with this mod?

Probably, but no ETA.

I am in general somewhat tired of Stellaris, i really dislike the changes they've made to population/districts/etc and it kinda killed my love of the game. I will try to keep this updated for people who still play it, but it might not be as fast.

It should. I honestly havent been much into stellaris lately (i feel its gotten a bit stale / sameish for me), but from quickly checking the patch notes should still be ok.

Thanks for this mod. Sofar i used the Megastructure mod https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=719712462 which seemed to be discontinued and therefor i switched to yours for now. If you would take up the mantle and intigrate some of the megastrucres from there it would be much appreciated. Just like you did with the star forge mod. Take care.

Heyho, do you see any possibility to build multiple Matter Decompressors in one System? e.g. there is the "Great Wound" System where you get 10 or more black holes in one system. But you can build only 1 decompressor. :(

Quality of Life request: Is there any way to add an event alerting you when the construction on a Star Forge is complete? Currently there is no indication that you can start the next phase, so you have to check often.

2.2.4 update is now live. Checked by myself in-game to be bug-free. Happy purging!

With 2.2.4 announced, i will be updating this mod to 2.2.4

The reasons are:

1. Lots of people have been having issues with this mod not working. Best solution, since i cant replicate it, is to rewrite the mod, and id rather do that for 2.2.4

2. 2.2.4 introduces fixes that make the game more playable - or actually just playable. As such that is the version that i will mostly be using, and be able to help with. That said, i am reasonably sure the mod will work with 2.2.3 as well.

I will push 2.2.4 update within an hour or so of this post, once i've verified that my own client has updated to 2.2.4 beta branch.


Please keep in mind that its quite a hassle to keep multiple versions up to date, and i've been playing stellaris less and less recently. Honestly its just easier on me to keep a single version, and this specific time i chose 2.2.4 because that has fixes that i really need in my game. But as i mentioned before, i will be surprised if 2.2.4 mod doesnt work with 2.2.3 game.
