Lancerevo13: The best option is probably the mod Random Train Trailers. It should let you do it without having to fiddle with the editor, which gets kinda messy with many different trailers.

I've searched all over and can't find an answer to this question. Is there a way to take this train for example, and swap the locomotive with a different one, while keeping the rest of the train as is? I love these trains, but am looking to put a modern American diesel locomotive in the front. Is this possible with any mods or some other way?

@CaptainTakuya: That isn't how things work. When you subscribe to a vehicle (or a growable for that matter), it is added to the pool of vehicles that can spawn. So the vanilla one will still spawn, you will just also have this one spawn. If you want to get rid of the vanilla one, you will need the mod Advanced Vehicle Options to disable it.

I subscribed to this and as far as I understand it, it will replace all vanilla cargo trains with this one but I still have only vanilla ones. I dont get it yet...

@pastorn: I have no plans to make more trains with these containers, but anyone is free to add them to other trains as long as they give credit. I'd like to add the vehicle effects to these, but I haven't had the time to look into how that's done and what effects would be the right ones for these.

Is it posible fore you to make a diesel electric engine version? Whit the DB 6400
