If you look at my workshop for "prefab", there will be already assembled jetbridge assets. There are others on the workshop as well (I don't think there are any others that use my asset packs though, but there are other jetbridge assets).

@jjhrurka No. There is no way to make them "functional" in this game. Obviously it depends on what you mean by functional, where I assume you mean "pedestrians use it, and it moves to match the aircraft". If you want the plane to just park at it, use a planestand asset, and then the jetbridge acts as a visual prop. This asset pack is not built up. I have others that are.

And to clear that up are they completely built up?

Is there any jetway/jetbridge on the workshop that are like yours that are functional?

@kineticcrusher A bit of a late follow-up. That's sort of what I thought you meant. These (and the new pack) are only for decoration. It's not possible to make them "functional" in the way that you were thinking. They could be added to a plane-stop, but then they would only be in the correct position for a single aircraft and there is no way to control which plane stops where without removing all other aircraft from the game using the vehicle selector mod.

By "functional", I mean ones that, in the case of jetways, are more than just empty props and actually allow planes to park in their locations.

@Banshee64 There are jetbridge buildings included in the county airport terminal pack, which use this asset. However, you can ignore those buildings and this asset in favor of the newer prefab buildings (which use the new pack).

I'm still pretty new to modding but it looks like the country airport terminal pack requires this but there is a new version, what's the way around this?

What are you expecting "functional" or "working parts" to be? I think you might have a misconception of how parts of the game work.

I wonder how you make custom airports with seperate parts. Nobody's tried to make working parts yet....

Thanks! Not as much as you might think. My best suggestion would be to look at airport in google earth, you can learn a lot by seeing how everything is laid out. And if there is something that you can't identify, you can look on a website that sells ground service equipment. Also, the ground service manuals for a lot of aircraft are available online (I was looking at the one for the A320 yesterday), which usually show you where the manufacturer recommends you place the service vehicles - almost all of the planes are the same, so anything you see in google earth would probably be correct.

Nice work man! You seems like you know a lot about airports! I'm trying to reproduce a super realistic airport and I'm not an expert, but I'm using all your props. Keep up the excellent work!
