Despite the comparatively blocky level design (in comparison to the juggernaut valve developed maps), I think the art direction in this map is drop-dead gorgeous. The lighting alone is great. I can't comment on the gameplay, but I know this level looks great.

pr3da I am really glad you like it! I do agree that it isn't the best designed map for gameplay. I was more focused on the visuals since I figured they would look at that more. Also all of those textures are from Inferno remake that I think came out right before the contest.

I've played right now, and man, this is amazing work, really. So simple but so clean and in same time detailed. The atmohsmere is incredible. It can be modified and fixed a bit like, remove some sound and add some details for gemaplay. But for 2x2 / 3x3 - is very nice. I will steal some textures or skybox from your map in future probably :D gj

This map is well done, (looks good) but i took a look at the optimization. NOTHING at all. Due to this i was running at about 70-80 fps. The start explosion of the volcano is really cool.

Nice layout, I like the idea. The volcano blowing up feels kinda weird, but a cool concept. BOTs are stuck like everywhere, could use some nav_mesh.
