@isiarca
Except a lot of people are running like 50+ mods at any given moment and the mod launcher is horribly unoptomized

Hey, people asking if it works in 2.0, here's an idea: just test it and report back. I know the game takes a hot minute to boot up, but how lazy can you get?

Also, folk doesn't read these comment sections anymore from what I hear. They can apparently be found on Discord though.

work 2.0 ? planned or not? need or not ? obsolete ?
capitaine raynor 24 Mar, 2018 @ 5:28am
thank you to tell us if the mod runs under 2.0 or if we must disable it and unsubscribe if it is obsolete (I prepare the mods)

@Timrath Alright, I lowered the prerequisite techs for both of them, and lowered the research cost, and increased the chance that the techs show up.

@trolface1245 Mods can't add new order types or control ships in that way. What you can do is use Issens ship behavior modules, or use my Automated Behavior Adjustment, or code your own ship behaviors.
trolface1245 15 Jan, 2018 @ 1:12am
@folk You say you have fun to mod Stellaris so can you mod that :
Allow us to give special order in combat to our fleet : Sniping. Because it's stupid that my ship continuously go to the contact of enemys while they can just use their range weapon
Timrath 22 Dec, 2017 @ 2:57pm
To me it feels like the techs arrive so late in the game that they're no longer useful. By the time you get better modules for exploration, there's nothing left in the galaxy to explore. Maybe the techs should become available a little earlier?
Ridesdragons 7 Dec, 2017 @ 7:44pm
I'm ok with that, thanks
folk  [author] 7 Dec, 2017 @ 11:18am
The two rare techs I added also increase research speed by 3%, just so that the techs dont feel completely useless.

I can change that if a few people object.
folk  [author] 7 Dec, 2017 @ 11:17am
@Ridesdargons @darkfoxspr, I added some new unique techs now that the two top labs depend on exclusively, because no matter which vanilla techs I tried looking at, they all required that you either owned Utopia, or the other DLC, or that you did not play as a gestalt/whatever type empire.

So the 2 best science labs from this mod now unlock with their own tech. The techs are rare, and require combat computers level 2 + "Self-Aware Colony Ships" or "Synthetic Thought Patterns". Both those techs are accessible even if you own zero DLCs, and no matter which type of empire you play.
darkfoxspr 19 Nov, 2017 @ 12:47pm
in fact if you get a psyonique scientist you may get the tech that allow you psychic ascension (i got it with materialist with an event on an anomaly)
if your not materialist , with a scientist crazy (+5% to every type of research) you have a small chance to unlock psy tech to
Ridesdragons 3 May, 2017 @ 11:31pm
Hey, as of Utopia, it's now 100% impossible for any non-spiritualist to gain access to psionic ship computers (you only get them through the shroud now, which only spiritualistic psionics gain access to), while everyone (including spiritualists) have access to the sentient ship computers. can you add some way for non-spiritualist empires to gain access to the 3rd archaeology lab?

Woot, infomercial description. Uprated.
Frission 8 Feb, 2017 @ 8:57am
Also, grammar. :3

I like this one. Though I wanted to point out that the modules here make the curator research modules completely obsolete. Perhaps they could be rebalanced so that they're still useful?
folk  [author] 19 Dec, 2016 @ 4:54am
@Voron okay, so all those _desc tooltips on the laboratories are just small texts I have written that are supposed to be funny. And confusing.

Each one is a reference to one or two movies.

This one, specifically, is a reference to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. In that movie they find an old temple and an evil force inside it. And they crash a plane into the Himalaya mountains.

"whatever continuous, stable, free-flowing electrical current" is the evil energy from the temple.

In any case, in those _desc paragraphs you can write whatever you want. Do not translate them directly.

In your language, if you have some very popular movies or stories, change them a bit to make them more fun - and so that people do not understand it, and put that in there instead.
Voron 19 Dec, 2016 @ 3:49am
"Not everyone agrees that allowing whatever continuous, stable, free-flowing electrical current escaped when we unearthed that old temple - some would say doomed temple, or evil temple - inhabit our archeology laboratory is a good idea. But what could go wrong? It's not like we're planning to crash into mountains."

I spent a day trying to translate it.
Firstly, is it correct ?
Secondly, "whatever continuous, stable, free-flowing electrical current" - you mean one of space creatures in the game?
Thirdly,"escaped when we unearthed that old temple - some would say doomed temple, or evil temple" - it refers to "whatever" or "electrical current"?

folk  [author] 18 Dec, 2016 @ 5:35am
I include translation files for braz, french, german, polish, russian, and spanish.
But they are all english, yes.
I can't speak any of those languages, so someone else must do the translations.
Voron 18 Dec, 2016 @ 5:26am

folk  [author] 9 Nov, 2016 @ 12:17am
Yes, but I made the addon before Stellaris 1.3.
The AI uses the computers, too, so the player doesn't get any unfair advantage.
tolaburke 9 Nov, 2016 @ 12:13am
It's interesting when you compare these to the Rare Tech Curator Science Ship Parts. These are far better.

I love these pants!
Err... I mean; thank you! :-)
