Let me know if this works.
If it does I will likely add it to the description.
This mod is just a patch/addon to Tier 9 ships. I get all of the functionality from that mod.
If this is common thing people are running into now, then well not good.
Since that mod does not support tier 9 and 10, things will get messed up when you upgrade from T8 to T9.
Essentially it will be like switching from that mod to my mod suddenly and walls and decorations will pop off or worse.
This is a problem for me
I'm pretty sure, since I had a longer post detailing it and then shrank it, That I didn't define what Wide and Single are.
I feel they're the standard of measure for Starbound rooms, When you strip the backplating off all the rooms of the vanilla ships, you can see a common pattern getting copied and pasted around, inverted, etc.
The Starting "wide" room and starting "teleporter single" room, excluding the cockpit and fuel tank in all cases.
Thus I refer to those room sizes as "wide" and "single" - with Wide approx 3 singles in size, give or take a bit of room.
Sometimes smaller than single rooms, appear as either half singles, two halves of a single with some trim cut off, and sometimes, smaller wides are a single and half worth of cut off, or two singles worth of space cut from the wide.
Some are definitely more obvious than others, being exact copies of singles side by side.
t8 is about 12 wide (give or take a wide for singles) cool, cool, That's about on par with some of the vanilla, more preferable races (some are laughable in size and organization)
t9 is about 18 wide, which, again, is about par with the t9 mod ships.
But the t10. Is barely an increase worth its weight. At a glance, this adds 5 wide, which, is nearly twice the size of the t8, sure.
But in a few t10s (possibly all of them but I haven't the patience to thoroughly check and guesstimate) on the t9 mod, The size of ship is easily discernable as 26 to close to 28 wide. A respectable increase, from the t9.
Oh well, not a gamekiller. Just weird :)
I am unable to reproduce your problem.
What other Avali mods do you have ? have ever installed ?

Not sure why it's happening, but only mods I've installed since last played were this, better dash and orbital ion cannon (neither of which would affect ship). Any reason for this to occur? Because I'm stumped
Possible for you to get a screenshot?
This mod is patching the Avali Triage blockfile, which means I am not overwritting it. I am not touching anything to do with the cockpit.
That being said post a screenshot and I will look into it and see if I can't figure it out for you.
The "Avali Alternate Ship" moves the cockpit above the main body, but not the standard ship.
What other Avali mods are you using?
Since before installing this cockpit was same place as ever, assuming this mod is the cause. As said, not major issue, but still :)
Though admittedly it looks a bit weird in your screenshot partially painted purple.
Nothing against purple as it happens to be my favorite color.
Awkwardly ?
Well that fish tank might have issues in the future. The T10 expands out the bottom of the ship. Though it does place hazard blocks in the upgrade.

The teleporter area is solid metal, not wall panels like it used to be. Still, everything else works, if somewhat awkwardly to my last design. :P
