Also I'd love compatibility with Planetary Diversity, Improved Mars and Real Space!

Some suggestions:
PROTO SOL
-Missions to stabilise Theia and Planet V (Phaeton)'s orbits, preventing the formation of the Asteroid Belt and Hadean Impact and by result allowing for terraforming the two planets.
-Terraforming Theia will make pre-FTL Theians spawn in Sol
-With Solar Manipulation mod, increasing the sun's mass will make Venus, Mars and Earth habitable, like in our timeline.

@neorogueshadows There's this one obscure scientific theory that postulated the possible survival of planets after their stars go Red Giant, but only after thinking about it *after* I made this mod did I realize how stupid that is. I'll probably get around to removing those planets eventually.
neorogueshadows 7 Oct, 2024 @ 1:37pm
Just a note on the White Dwarf Sol - I encountered it and was surprised to see Mercury, Venus, and Earth, uninhabitable but intact. Since all three will be consumed during Sol's Red Giant phase, shouldn't they all (and possibly Mars too) be missing once Sol progresses to a White Dwarf?
Nathaniel Herapen the Third 14 Sep, 2024 @ 5:16pm
I do like the Post-KGB event, the TODO makes for a good laugh.
Celestial Caesar  [author] 17 Aug, 2024 @ 2:58pm
@marsmelon24 Yep, I made it so both mods could work together or apart.
marsmelon24 17 Aug, 2024 @ 7:01am
does this work with real sol textures?
Celestial Caesar  [author] 14 Mar, 2024 @ 2:31pm
@Lovely_Gab Gigastructures does that. I decided not to because, though I'm not an astrophysicist, I'm pretty sure that Jupiter being a star would completely wreck the habitable zone and gravitational pull of our solar system.
Lovely_Gab 14 Mar, 2024 @ 6:15am
I don't know how difficult it is, but Jupiter was on the verge of becoming a star like the sun, but he didn't make it. It would be interesting to see a solar system where Jupiter is a star and I don't know whether Neptune or Uranus are habitable planets or something like that.

@Angelic Burrito I will continue to update as long as I am able to. This is the most creative mod I've ever made,so it holds a special place.
Angelic Burrito 6 Feb, 2024 @ 6:28pm
Heh, yeah I noticed that when I looked through the last few screenshots showing the old weapons and FTL system. Sorta surprised you're still updating this...must be venerable
Celestial Caesar  [author] 6 Feb, 2024 @ 3:28pm
@Angelic Burrito Maybe in the next update. This mod was made before those were a thing, that's why they don't have them.
Angelic Burrito 5 Feb, 2024 @ 9:11pm
Np!
(And what about the (lack of) leader traits for the prescripted empires? It's not a critical bug, but it feels like an oversight since it's out of line with vanilla empires, plus it causes the aforementioned awkward situation where the ruler immediately (upon a new game) has a trait pick available but the options may be useless for councilors—unlike the traits available during empire creation.)
Celestial Caesar  [author] 5 Feb, 2024 @ 2:59pm
@Angelic Burrito Saturn and localization have been fixed. Thanks for letting me know.
Celestial Caesar  [author] 4 Feb, 2024 @ 4:42pm
@Angelic Burrito I'll take a look at those bugs you mentioned.
Angelic Burrito 4 Feb, 2024 @ 6:30am
A couple minor things:
Is it normal to spawn in a nebula? I did once with Nuclear Sol and thought it was weird, but maybe it's vanilla behavior that any system can spawn in nebulae.
The inclusion of Phaeton in Proto Sol is weird since that's not the prevailing theory (and the makeup of the belt in fact disfavors that theory); it should realistically stay an asteroid belt in that initializer.

Lastly, I think the "ice age" terminology in the description should be changed to "glaciation" and "snowball" (e.g. "Snowball Sol" instead of "Ice Age Sol"), because if Earth is an arctic planet then it wouldn't be during the Pleistocene (what is commonly what's referred to when mentioning "Ice Age"—not cold enough) nor during an interglacial of an ice age. I guess your wording feels problematic because "during Earth's Ice Age" implies only one ice age happened, and the one ice age most people think of wouldn't have Earth as arctic. Could specify what ice age/glaciation the mod represents?
Angelic Burrito 4 Feb, 2024 @ 6:21am
Mothra Trashcanbanger and Matt Damon made me laugh :cozybethesda:

Some feedback:
Saturn's texture is bad—as in it has a big seam, the shadows are blocky and low-res, and the upper part facing the Sun has no detail with how bright it is.
The ruler titles for Venusian Enterprises is broken; it shows up as "PRESCRIPTED_ruler_title_female_venusian 1" for Mothra.
It's weird that none of your prescripted rulers have a preset ruler trait; as is, when you start you're given a random trait pick for them, but you may be given options that aren't suitable for rulers/councilors.

@Sir Koda Thanks for the heads up!
Sir Koda 7 Jan, 2024 @ 4:11am
Thanks for a quick answer and a quick fix:D! This mod is a gem.
Celestial Caesar  [author] 7 Jan, 2024 @ 4:10am
@Sir Koda Ice Age is not a playable start. The Lunar Sol system has been fixed.
Sir Koda 7 Jan, 2024 @ 3:50am
I looked into the files and the Lunar Sol start is there, the game just cant load it for some reason...
Sir Koda 7 Jan, 2024 @ 3:31am
Hey, for some reason I cant see Lunar Sol and Ice Age Sol as selectible systems, do you have any idea why that could be? This is the only mod Iam running.
Celestial Caesar  [author] 19 Dec, 2023 @ 1:11pm
@卡尔文迪斯梅特 Neat, thanks!

Celestial Caesar  [author] 8 Dec, 2023 @ 7:58pm
@Epic Man What you want can already be accomplished with the Fear of the Dark origin and either Gigastructures or any mod that can turn frozen worlds into ocean worlds.
Epic Man 8 Dec, 2023 @ 6:31pm
@Alex FRD How about a standalone mod? Im willing to talk about a commission if its too out of your way
Celestial Caesar  [author] 8 Dec, 2023 @ 1:37pm
@Epic Man Sorry, but there are currently no plans to add more initializer systems.
Epic Man 7 Dec, 2023 @ 4:23pm
Awesome mod! If I may, could I make a request? I would love for someone to make a 40k Sol system. Earth start, Mars is an Arid/desert world, Europa an Ocean world. Both should maybe have human primitives if its possible.
Celestial Caesar  [author] 22 Nov, 2023 @ 1:58pm
@Dukkokun Thanks for the report, and for specifying everything. No need to worry, the code in question is unused and causes no issues.

Finally, Mechanicus.
Nathaniel Herapen the Third 2 Aug, 2023 @ 1:13am
I like that I am not alone in the penguins being Earthlings. I use the Distant Origins mod to make it 'real.' (alongside the Saurian dinos mod)
I'd find it funny if the proto Sol's Earth could be terraformed with the current continents. (Obviously requiring the correct Earth tag.) Millions of years too early but how would terraformers know?
Celestial Caesar  [author] 30 Jul, 2023 @ 5:29pm
@Wrightc214 It must be a mod conflict, I can see all options on my end.
wrightc214 28 Jul, 2023 @ 8:22pm
Of the 4 custom empires, only the Lunar Remnants appear as a selectable empire. I have the required DLCs.
Celestial Caesar  [author] 11 Jul, 2023 @ 7:46am
@anyday308 It's compatible with RST, don't know about Improved Mars.
anyday308 11 Jul, 2023 @ 2:57am
What is compatibility like with mods such as "Real Sol Textures" and "Improved Mars"? Thanks for all your great work on here! :)
Grendain 10 Jul, 2023 @ 5:45pm
Dont worry gg
Celestial Caesar  [author] 10 Jul, 2023 @ 5:10pm
@Grendain Yeah, Steam hasn't been informing me of Stellaris' updates, sorry for the delay.
Grendain 10 Jul, 2023 @ 3:53pm
The mod is back G.G
Celestial Caesar  [author] 9 May, 2023 @ 5:12pm
Announcement: The latest patch for Stellaris has made many changes to planets and entities, it will take some time for me to update this mod. Please be patient with me while I do the necessary changes.
Celestial Caesar  [author] 22 Mar, 2023 @ 4:50am
@Rohzdear That would mean the mod would require another DLC.
Rohzdear 21 Mar, 2023 @ 10:22pm
If you have the new DLC I'd love a Fear of the Dark (Sol) version where you play as Mars and Earth is the much more developed (but Isolationist) Neighbour.
Flagellum Dei 15 Mar, 2023 @ 3:14pm
Cambrian Earth could draw from molluscoids too. Forgot about that.
Flagellum Dei 15 Mar, 2023 @ 3:10pm
One more idea, and one more addition to an idea:

Ocean Earth could have one more variant, a variant where Earth has cooled off, but continents have yet to form, and so life is, as a result, microbial, due to not enough time passing for animal life to form.

Cambrian Earth could also have arthropods as possible sapients.

And a bonus idea:

Purple Earth, a version of Earth where plant life took up to using retinal as opposed to chlorophyll, and in this scenario, retinal dominated over chlorophyll. This is based on the Purple Earth hypothesis.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purple_Earth_hypothesis
Flagellum Dei 14 Mar, 2023 @ 10:17pm
Some ideas:

Pangaea Earth, with sapient dinosaurs or crocodiles

Pangaea Ultima Earth, with sapient mammals, humanoids (not including humans), insects, reptiles, avians, molluscoids, or aquatics

Ocean Earth, with sapient aquatics. Either the core has frozen over, ending volcanism and eroding the continents, or there is not enough oxygen in the air yet for permit land life. Both are possible scenarios.

Grey goo Earth, randomized portrait resembling any given portrait possible. Sapient. No life remains.

Machine Earth, Earth got overtaken by machines and they have turned the planet into a Ecumenopolis. Can use any machine portrait.

Overgrown Earth, Earth is overtaken by large swathes of fungus or plants. Sapient plantoids and/or fungoids are present.

@Grendain You can add me as a friend and send it to me or upload it somewhere and show me the link, either works.
Grendain 10 Dec, 2022 @ 6:10am
Always . I made a (simple my personal opinion), a upgrade/modification about Penguins of Titan. If you are Curious i give look of my modification. How can showing the screenshot?
Grendain 10 Dec, 2022 @ 5:45am
Im Sad... Beautifull Mod = No Achievements... Dammit Paradox ;/
FortuneHost 8 Dec, 2022 @ 1:02pm
@Alex FRD Yeah, I may not have thought that one through before posting. Upon reflection, I think most of the changes that happen aren't on a scale that Stellaris deals with (eg. engineered continents and what-not.)
Celestial Caesar  [author] 8 Dec, 2022 @ 11:26am
@Pinktails Seems fun and all, but Sol one billion years in the future would be the same as default Sol, I think.
