DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 16 MAY a las 17:45
Hey Kinsect. You are right, I was given 2 tutorials :D
Kinsect 16 MAY a las 17:41
I'm sure that there are tutorials on how to make dungeons ^^;;
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 23 FEB a las 23:41
Nope :( . I don't know how to use tiled/make dungeons.
Emerald 23 FEB a las 20:26

V3.1.3 - Small fixes

@Good Game
I have a couple more questions about this stuff, do you use discord? I'd like to stop spamming the comments section lol

My discord is drpvtskittles

@DrPvtSkittles

LOL thanks!

Nowhere. That's the incredible thing about this. If you are using SIP and OpenStarbound, every mod is automatically supported on the SIP item list, including yours.
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 3 ENE a las 18:31
@Good Game
You are a legend.

Where do I put sip_postload.lua?
Good Game 3 ENE a las 18:17
@DrPvtSkittles

SIP: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=733665104
OpenStarbound: https://github.com/OpenStarbound/OpenStarbound

The pages of the respective things also explain how they work.
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 3 ENE a las 15:07
@Good Game
I'm unfamiliar with SIP. Seems it would be handy to have every item load for mod testing.

Is there a guide on how to set this up? I wanna test my stuff aha
Good Game 3 ENE a las 6:56
@DrPvtSkittles

Do you know how SIP patches work? OpenStarbound adds support for postload scripts that run after the game has loaded all the items. SIP added such a script that runs when OpenStarbound is being used. This script eliminates the need for SIP patches by automatically patching every single item that was loaded on launch.

If you are curious about the code, it is on GitHub: https://github.com/Silverfeelin/Starbound-SpawnableItemPack/blob/master/scripts/sip_postload.lua
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 3 ENE a las 3:46
@Good Game
Can you tell me more how it works? I've never heard of this
Good Game 2 ENE a las 12:57
@DrPvtSkittles

OpenStarbound now automatically postloads every existing item in SIP. This let me find a lot of typos and small mistakes across a large amount of mods. This is one of them. I am currently working on fixing and reporting all of the errors as they happen and spam the log every time the item list is loaded in SIP.

Thanks for looking into it! :)

@Good Game
Ah I can see what I've done. Thank you.

Help me understand something, I replaced 'eggsmacker' with 'bunnykinegg' so eggsmacker shouldn't be able to be obtained. Please tell me how you spawned eggsmacker?
Good Game 2 ENE a las 9:55
Good evening and happy new year!

I found an asset error in this mod:

[19:38:48.724] [Error] Could not load image asset '/items/active/weapons/melee/hammer/eggsmacker/eggsmacker.png', using placeholder default.
(AssetException) No such asset '/items/active/weapons/melee/hammer/eggsmacker/eggsmacker.png'

Could you please fix it? Thank you!

@JAvatar80
Custom ship: Kinda, its a recoloured Floran ship, you can see a Tier 1 in the mod's images.

Mech - No custom mech. I haven't defined a specific mech to use. So I am really not sure what one it uses. Whatever the default one is when a mech isn't specified. :S
JAvatar80 8 AGO 2024 a las 9:39
A quick 2-fer question: Does this mod have a custom ship and mech? And if not, what race's version does it use?
Bunuffin 8 AGO 2024 a las 3:19
Okie dokie, Thanks!
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 8 AGO 2024 a las 2:41
And you can craft some
Bunuffin 8 AGO 2024 a las 2:30
bunnykin furniture is only found at the Mysterious Merchant?
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 8 AGO 2024 a las 1:51
Bunnykin npcs need to be spawned in, you can buy a spawner from the Mysterious Merchant. You can make a house attractive to them by adding in Bunnykin furniture and objects.
Bunuffin 7 AGO 2024 a las 11:43
How do you attract bunnykin tenants?
For the colony, i want a bunnykin village
Naii Starwing 17 FEB 2024 a las 18:52
This mod's spawning is now legal in Finland.
MysteryX95 17 FEB 2024 a las 16:39
No pants? No problem!

v3.1.2
Fixed small typo causing some villager Bunnykin to spawn without pants

Hmmmmm
Azuli-Bluespots 27 NOV 2023 a las 2:49
There is a mod with flowing wigs iirc, maybe someone could adapt that to make equipable ears.
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 23 SEP 2023 a las 17:07
@ramhane
If someone wants to make a patch for it, they are most welcome aha

I cannot code, maybe is doable with LUA? I would not have a clue.
ramhane 23 SEP 2023 a las 16:56
@DrPvtSkittles
That's the problem...
Thinking about it normally, if you were to do it, it would probably only be the most typical ear shape, such as a thumbnail, right? It's true that I really want to see it. Shaking rabbit ears.
However, I have floppy ears, so even if they listen to my request, I'll have to say goodbye to my floppy ears, which is a self-contradiction...

@[HS-CS|Ænigma]MysteryX95
Aaaahh
MysteryX95 23 SEP 2023 a las 16:49
Oh I never answered your question about the bobbing, it's on line 13986 when editing Packed.pak with Notepad++
MysteryX95 23 SEP 2023 a las 16:38
I actually just subscribed through steam rather than downloading them from any external sites. Discord is probably the best option
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 23 SEP 2023 a las 16:32
@ramhane
That would limit Bunnykin to 1 ear style... unless you do make 20+ races aha.
ramhane 23 SEP 2023 a las 16:28
@DrPvtSkittles
Ah, I'm talking about a mod that replaces sprites.
A sprite whose ears move instead of the ear style not working. ...Replace all current ear styles with transparent ones and attach moving ears to the body?
I used the word Reskin because I had in mind another creator's Draconis Full Dragons Reskin.

Every time something like this happens, I wish Starbound had animated the head from the beginning.

@[HS-CS|Ænigma]MysteryX95
Where is this hair bobbing option?

If you are chucklefish or nexus mods you can dl Bunnykin from there in a zip file, I can run you through unpacking a mod or I can send you a copy through discord.
MysteryX95 23 SEP 2023 a las 16:14
I happened to noticed in the packed.pak there's a "hair bobbing" option. Would that make it possible? I don't want to ask you to send any of your assets but at the same time I want to play around with the ears. But on top of it all I don't really know much about modding, I've never really played anything non vanilla before now xD
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 23 SEP 2023 a las 15:59
@[HS-CS|Ænigma]MysteryX95

Boom! Got it in one. Their ears are technically their 'hair'
MysteryX95 23 SEP 2023 a las 15:52
I'm guessing the ears are replacing hair and don't give a lot of choice in being able to animate it eh?
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 23 SEP 2023 a las 15:30
@ramhane
I am not sure what you mean by reskin mod.

Ah well I can't see myself making 20+ Bunnykin races :p
ramhane 23 SEP 2023 a las 9:31
Looking at the story so far, I personally think I would like it as a reskin MOD.

Other possibilities...No, to take it to the extreme, it would be romantic to consider differences in ear shapes as differences in breeds and to divide them into multiple races...

@[HS-CS|Ænigma]MysteryX95
I gotta say, the Neki race is pretty impressive!

I have had a big dig through to see how they have animated the ears, and I can see they are actually part of the body sprites, which is pretty clever. Sadly since the Bunnykin have more than 1 ear style, that workaround wouldn't be suitable.
MysteryX95 21 SEP 2023 a las 21:46
I doubt I have the artistic talent to pull it off but I know it would be an animation set tied to the movements, similar to the Neki mods
DrPvtSkittles  [autor] 21 SEP 2023 a las 21:18
@[HS-CS|Ænigma]MysteryX95
Is that doable?
