Ah, didn't know that, thanks :)

@Stoj No, it is the normal vanilla overlay when placing parks
MisterHamstring 20 Apr, 2020 @ 5:57am
I use Find It to place the assets. I get this white overlay when placing. Why is that?
Or is another mod interfering?

Why cannot build wall consistency?

amazing

@603664857 I doubt I will ever add anything to this collection, sorry...
@MrMiyagi Thank you, I hope they are better now yes ;)
MrMiyagi 31 May, 2017 @ 10:54am
You did an update! Awesoeme!!! Thank you, these were great, even better now!
603664857 13 May, 2017 @ 10:16am
NICE WORK! It's the best wall I had ever seen. It would be better if you add the white wall, so I can build a New Swan Stone Castle :)

@SonOfNitrous I haven't had time yet to rework the descriptions but I'll be doing it now :) Also I first changed the filenames and I didn't know it would make the assets disappear... So I changed back to the original names, Hopefully you won't get that problem... Basically mesh optimization and addition of LOD textures, so it's almost the same from up close :)
SonOfNitrous 12 May, 2017 @ 11:25am
Saw you dropped an update - could you tell what's changed?
thx in advance!
<3 updates :steamhappy:

Hi,
Thanks. :-)
And... GREAT WORK ! THKS.
Lost Gecko  [author] 22 Nov, 2016 @ 3:15am
@mjm92150 Sadly animated assets are impossible for the moment appart from rotation (some billboards have that feature for example).
And yes, I would like to make one or two keep models (rectangular and circular). I have been working on these assets for a very long time (it was my first assets) so I'm having a break from the collection because I needed more diversity. However I'll come back to it sooner or later to add more assets and update some of them to correct a couple of imperfections...
mjm92150 22 Nov, 2016 @ 2:45am
Hi,
Ah, ok. I was supposed you talking to open or close the drawbridges but not about the traffic (car, bus, trucks, pedestrians...).
Anyway, in the idea of your wall, are you going to build a dungeon (rectangular form or/and square form) and taller than your bigg wall ?
Thanks.
Lost Gecko  [author] 19 Nov, 2016 @ 2:32am
@mjm92150 That's what I meant by functional, transport can only use roads so they couldn't use the drawbridge. However in real life drawbridges realistically aren't used by traffic either.
@Slye_Fox Maybe... The reason I didn't do any is because it's possible to make such an angle with two straight sections, unlike the 225° one.
Slye_Fox 11 Nov, 2016 @ 12:27pm
Will you be making the reverse version of the 225d walls?
mjm92150 6 Nov, 2016 @ 2:28pm
Hi,
Nevermind if is not functional but I hope pedestrian can walk on it or inland transport (bycicle, car, bus) if it's possible ?
Slye_Fox 6 Nov, 2016 @ 10:56am
@Lost_Gecko
Ah, you mean draw distance.
The Adaptive Prop Visibility Distance mod fixes that.
Lost Gecko  [author] 6 Nov, 2016 @ 10:16am
@mjm92150 You're welcome, I might make a drawbridge in the future but it wouldn't be functional ;) I guess a simple prop would do!
@Slye_Fox Props disappear at some distance, and with props that big it would be very noticeable. Hard to explain what I mean with the gap without a drawing, basically there would be a gap in the outside of the curve. Reducing the distance would only work with constant curves and messing with it would probably take quite some time. I agree that placing the assets can be painful and props have advantages butin my opinion these are too limited for me to upload them as props, I'm sorry.
Slye_Fox 6 Nov, 2016 @ 9:18am
@Lost_Gecko
What do you mean by "disappear quite quickly"?
You can set the distance between props with PLT, so you caqn remove that gap in curves by setting it to a negative value.
mjm92150 6 Nov, 2016 @ 9:02am
Hi,
Ok, thanks for your answer.I hope in the futur you can do it the drawbrige like in all the castle in the middle age.
Anyway, congrets for this assets, it's superbe ! Many, many thanks for these. :-))))
Lost Gecko  [author] 6 Nov, 2016 @ 8:52am
@Slye_Fox @mjm92150 I didn't make these assets as props because they would disappear quite quickly and it would look bad, and also because the PLT benefit would be limited: it would only be useful for straight lines because with curves it would create gaps because of the width of thewatls, sorry...
For the drawbridge there isn't any, the one on the picture is the elevated version of pedestrian dirt roads from the Network Extension Project.
mjm92150 5 Nov, 2016 @ 4:27pm
Hi,
I did it and is working nicely but is it possible to use with PLT mod (Prop Line Tool) ?
Because is going to be easier to build Castle or Fortress.
By the way, I didn't find the drawbridge. Did you do it or is it possible to do it ?
Thanks and I like it very much.
Slye_Fox 5 Nov, 2016 @ 6:51am
Would it be possible to get a prop version of this set? So we can use tools like Prop Line tool.
mjm92150 31 Oct, 2016 @ 12:45am
Hi,
I just dowloaded today. It looks goog. I will see.
Anyway, it's nice design.
Polskers 8 Sep, 2016 @ 4:48pm
Great work! Perfect for a city wall!
Lost Gecko  [author] 8 Sep, 2016 @ 1:41pm
@Polskers Thanks! I hope you like it!
Polskers 8 Sep, 2016 @ 12:08pm
Thanks, Lost_Gecko! I'll give it a go! :)
Lost Gecko  [author] 8 Sep, 2016 @ 11:51am
@Polskers Sharp Junction Angles (ctrl A), but there are other mods, I think (Advanced) Road Anarchy and No Pillars work as well, but only regarding the roads, I'm not sure if these two help with overlapping the walls.
Polskers 8 Sep, 2016 @ 10:01am
Which mod do you use to disable collision?
Lost Gecko  [author] 16 Aug, 2016 @ 12:34pm
Glad you like it @MrMiyagi! They do adapt to slopes indeed, but unlike the Carcassonne set you pretty much need a mod to disable collision to use them, especially the gates because they don't have any road...
MrMiyagi 16 Aug, 2016 @ 12:30pm
Cool!! The Carcassonne walls set someone else made stopped working for me long ago, so I am so glad we have a replacement here! Even better here because it looks like they go with the terrain slope. Thanks!!
Lost Gecko  [author] 4 Aug, 2016 @ 3:47pm
Thank you very much @Captain-NO!
