Hey mod doesnt seem to work anymore. 1 Does it need updating? 2 If this is defunct mod, can we just edit all the same modifiers in the game files ourselves to get the same effect as the mod?

@Crowsephian: It will still work, only the version number is changed. It probobly just didn't update as the workshop is twitchy. Try restarting steam. If that doesn't work you can unsubscribe from the mod then re-subscribe and that will often clear it up. Regardless it will work just fine despite the version number being wrong.

The description lists this as compatible with 1.2.5, but the launcher still lists it as compatible with 1.2.1. Should we just ignore this?

Goodsir, would you mind removing the trait/ethos point changes? It conflicts with so many sexy mods that add/change ethics and/or trait points. : ( I love everything else about this mod and would like to keep it, but, the users should decide how many race/ethic points they get to use by other mods, you know?

I see, so colonies bump it up by one percent per colony and pops bump it up by one percent for every pop after one hundred

Documents / Paradox Interactive / Stellaris / workshop / content / 281990 / 701523852

Just copy the folders and file in the zip, make the change and create a new mod using the mod tools in the game launcher. Add the folders with the altered file, rename it, and create mod. You do not need to upload or subscribe to it as long as it is in your mod folder where it will be added. Just drop the folders and altered file into the mod folder it creates in:

Documents / Paradox Interactive / Stellaris / mod

@jr1125a: If you don't mind altering a file it is an easy fix. Open the file with Notepad++ (which you can download for free--regular notepad might work but personally I wouldn't trust it) and search for the following line:

NDefines.NGameplay.ETHOS_MAX_POINTS = 4

Change the value to 3 and you are set. You might want to keep a copy for when the next version update comes as I will need to update the mod and it will redownload automatically.

I should mention that I've had this mod for a while, and the extra ethos point only showed up today.

Is there a way to get this without the extra ethos point? If not, do you know of similar mods that can approximate your changes? If you don't that's fine.

leaders have 3 traits and rulers only 2 in my game is this a mistake in the description or the game?
