@Poud it literally says it in the description AND the icon. Learn to read, modders hate people like you.

@daniel_USA these arent RICO these are parks

don't appear in rico, tried to add them manually and it still won't work. I am trying the new test version of RICO to see if it allows me to manually add the markets to my game.

FiveHorse, Baronjutter - here's an updated props list, allowing you to subscribe the required props for sure.

Any progress on the new RICO files & the "required items" list? It's approaching a month now...

This sounds exactly like what I'm looking for, but i'll wait till you sort out the prop problem.

Thank you all for the feedback. I'm thinking to update this download with a new set of RICO files - and probably to remove the props from the download and list them as 'required items' instead...

Terrific. Reminds me of San Francisco.

Really nice idea for european cities!
Same problems for me though. Had to subscribe to the props to have them appear; doesn't appear in RICO menu.

Thanks for the feedback, Erdobelli. I absolutely understand that you want to reduce unnecessary assets. My game takes nearly 10mins to load!

I'll consider removing the prop assets from this download, and listing them as 'required content' instead... :)

@dazflint: I did some further testing. I subscribed to prop_clothes_rail prop in your workshop seperately. And when I plopped down the market stall C it produced the prop. So that means I have to subscribe all the props listed as missing in the report in order for the prop probability thing to work as intended. I will not be doing that as I am trying to get rid of any unnecessary props and assets to have better loading times. It is not a huge problem for me as I never shy away from doing decorative detail work. Thanks for this neat idea/mod and I will be using them whether they are functional or not. Keep up the good work and I hope you add more stuff do this so that we can design and build detailed market plazas and christmarkts in our towns.

I'd love to hear anybody else's experiences -- do the props work for you, do the lots appear in your RICO tab as they should?
dazflint  [author] 10 May, 2016 @ 7:32am
Erdobelli, thanks for the report. I think I see the problem, but don't know what to do about it. The props I included are copied from my steam workshop folder, so they *should* be the one-and-only version around. But they're not!

I wonder if I was being too clever, including the props all together in a single download.

As for the lots not appearing in your RICO menu - that could be because I was added info for all four lots, into a single RICO xml file. It works on my end - but for you apparently not. I'll check that out on the RICO pages - I love the idea of that mod, and want to create RICO settings for all my ploppables.

Sorry if you feel like a bit of a guinea-pig, testing out my new assets like this. I do always test things out before I publish them, but there's only so much I can do myself with one copy of the game and one steam account!

Yes I have the RICO mod installed. All of my RICO assets work except this one.

As for the prop issue, I have used loading screen mod to show you the problems with the props. The report says several props are missing. My understanding is that : although I have the props (like prop_clothes_rail) installed and I can find and manually add the prop with more beautification, the asset you have created looks for different prop_clothes_rail and therefore when I plop down the market stall it comes without the prop. Here is the link for the full report:

I hope the foregoing is useful
dazflint  [author] 8 May, 2016 @ 1:44pm
Erdobelli, do you have other RICO assets that work correctly? Maybe a silly question, but do you have the RICO mod installed? By default and without the RICO mod, these assets will work as ordinary parks.

On the other hand you shouldn't need Boformer's mod for the random prop placement to work correctly, and the feature works seperately from the RICO mod. If you place 2x of the same lot, do they look any different? They should look different every time, but not all the props will appear - not so many props as you see in the thumbnail!
erdobelli 7 May, 2016 @ 2:09pm
For me they do not show up in the RICO tab (they are found under the parks tabs) and also I have to manually plop down most of the props as they never appear. Do I have to install boformer's mod in order for these to work as intended?
