If you publish you repaint in Workshop, please, give a link to original (this asset)— thanks.
It is original Tatra pantograph, the difference is only in upper dielectric part, and it is different in different cities — there is no one "Tatra" pantograph: the first photo shows Moscow variation, the second shows Volgograd variation. German car used their own stuff differed from city to city, so it remodelling just won't make any sence.
Could you remodel the pantograph to be more similar to the original Tatra one? Or is it too late?
So this is now the version like on the stamp.
But I also like the idea of the unique tram.
It's like rolling history, too bad that the company doesn't exist anymore...
maybe.
Actually there are two "types" of KT8D5:
first two cars had scharfenberg coupling, bogeys like Tatra T6B5 with trapezoid railbrake, and different roof gear (look at the foto in screenshots). One of this cars are still working in Volgograd, Russia, and the other is running in Ostrava, Czech rep., but it is completely rebuilt.
all other 200 cars has Tatra T3 squere railbrakes and couplings. But I like scharfenbergs more myself, but now such car is unique.
Suggestion:
If you create a complete linecolored version (like you did with the other trams) you could make it with the Scharfenberg couplings and bogeys.
Couplings (Tatra T3 variant) added to both sides.
End segment repaired: now it's placed on the same axis as other segments.
Windows changed.
Bogeys were changed to the Tatra T3 variant.
actually It already has recolorable rout windows (look and the screens).
And as Allianz4000 I promised recolorable livery version soon (maybe even today).
He said:
"KT8D5 with recorolable livery would be available later."
>read the coments on the first page
awesome tram though
One thing:
It looks a bit strange (like on screenshot 2) and I think the couplers at both ends are missing at the model.
Because on the photo there is a coupler.
And the other models (T6B5 for example) have couplers.
But at this model there is just nothing?
Unfortunately I can not make your own :(
Out of curiosity you do in the near future, other trams?
KT8D5 with recorolable livery would be available later.
will KT8 in color differentiation?
You'll be doing and shame "Škoda 14T" or "Skoda 15T ForCity"?
