Ach ja richtig, du sprichst ja deutsch :D

I used this theme (which is great by the way :D) for months, but now my game can't find the theme anymore. Do you know a solution for that?
mp7-enjoyer 13 Jul, 2016 @ 8:35am
Oh my god I had no idea you could do that! :steamhappy:

No. Paint a big district above the whole map, and select Vanilla-Theme in the district-options. Done!

Is there a way to get this without the horrible european map theme? I hate the buildings.

The snow you talk about doesn't appear on my map. When I put some oil, it's yellow but it's hard to see the yellow zone. There's no snow !
However, it looks great. :D

Oh WOW!! Thank you so very much!! That will be really helpful, I got discouraged for a long time. You're the best! :)

But finally, I solved that problem. 1. Edit your Theme 2. Save it with the same Name like before. 3. Leave the Game 4. Start the Game and Unsubscribe both of the 2 Versions 5. Leave/Start the Game again and now open your local save of your changed Theme and save it again with the same Name. 6. Now you can Upload your file to Steam and it will change your existing Steamupload correctly. 7. Subscribe again. Done! Hope this will help.

Hi MrMiyagi. Thanks for mention me on your Map/Theme. I´ll take a look to your map soon. Those terraformed mountains are looking totally awesome. I took the oil because I actually needed a Sandtexture for the rivers. And in Reallife there is no oil in such a Landscape^^. One problem with Oil and Ore is the yellow colormasks above them, which surprisingly is no problem with white textures. I also have this Theme and Mapproblem you mentioned. It´s really unpossible to change a Themes Textures correctly after uploading them. My first uploads failed really hard. You also can not edit a existing Theme and save/upload it as a new one which is really annoying.

And regarding the issues mentioned here, I'm also having the same issues with my themes and maps! One thing I found is that if I ever try to update a theme, it causes problems both for users and for me, too. It won't load correctly any more and I can't even get Environment Changer mod to change it correctly. It's really bizarre. The only thing I can suggest is that once you're totally 100% happy with your theme, to THEN load it up, and then start a new map based on the Steam published version of your theme (rather than the local copy). I had to totally make Polynesia Theme from scratch and upload it as a new theme, "2.0". This is a mess, most likely a Steam mess, but anyway I hope it helps you to know this.

Hi <<FSF>>Ranger (oops, I thought it was FSB lol). I was inspired by your map theme here. I was going to use it for the map, but unfortunately because of my computer, I had to make a lower memory one than this. Nevertheless, I gave a big shout out to you on the listing and also I made oil as snow (genius choice you made, it works better than sand!!), so that people using the Wolfgangsee map can choose either your theme here or the new one I made. Thanks again for all your inspiring map theme work!! http://sp.zhabite.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=709145204

@the Godfather I have had the same problem many times with other map themese too.. I don't know exactly what's causing it but you can enable the theme with the map theme changer mod upon the save load.

Hi. Looks like this is a single problem. However. I just changed the textures and I don´t know anything. Try to download it again but I think you already did that. Post it to Community Hub if you want. I can´t help.

Hi, its me again i made a cool small town in your map Alpine Lake, and i keep having this issue of then Theme turning off by itself, and when i try to turn it back on, it gives me this wierd error thing. do you know what this is? i thought mabye it had something to do with the lates update
<<FSF>>Ranger  [author] 31 May, 2016 @ 3:54am
Hi. Do you use one of my two Alpine-Maps and do you brush in the Mapeditor? Does any message appear? Could you make a screenshot. That would be helpful.
BBQ Sauce 31 May, 2016 @ 3:25am
I've got the Theme applied, however it still looks like the default textures. No snowy mountains or anything. I've tried using the oil brush to see if i can paint them but it's not using the textures.
SPECTRE 30 May, 2016 @ 3:41am
Can you make dirt roads brighter and sand more dark? That would be perfect.
<<FSF>>Ranger  [author] 4 May, 2016 @ 3:10pm
Yes. Everything is custom in this Theme.
SergeantShavedBalls 4 May, 2016 @ 12:16pm
Are you using custom grass textures?
<<FSF>>Ranger  [author] 28 Mar, 2016 @ 4:10pm
Cool. This should be really helpful for me. I already searched for something like that. No wonder this looks weird in a Wintermap. Roofes and props are using the same Snowtexture then grass do. This means you can not change the Snowtexture really rapidly. You have to use a white Snowtexture as grass.
Titan 28 Mar, 2016 @ 3:58pm
Okay you're right ... I read the descrioption but not the first sentence .. maybe I'm stupid^^

There is a Mod calles EnvironmentChanger by BloodyPenguin I think ... it allows you to change map theme and environment everytime
<<FSF>>Ranger  [author] 28 Mar, 2016 @ 3:37pm
Em. It looks like you didn´t read the description. I gave oil a snowtexture which I used at the Top of Mountains. It is also a European Theme and I chosed oil becasue there is a lack of Snow. This isn´t a Wintertheme and may not work with Vanilla Maps.
Here´s a Link to my Map: http://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=646582612

At least I have a Question. How do you load a European Maptheme for Wintermaps? Would be interesting to know.
Titan 28 Mar, 2016 @ 3:28pm
This Theme is really awesome! But it seems there is a bug ... which looks very crazy: Areas with oil have a white ground texture ... and when I load this theme in a winter map the snow is in a dark green ... could it be that these textures are transposed?
M.Jane 26 Mar, 2016 @ 11:33am
This theme is a MUST , I've spend many hours in Cities Skylines looking for a great European alpine map + theme and this is the best of them all, great job!

Thank you :) Now I can finally build a city like Innsbruck
