played like 3 or 4 maps with this addon on a custom online server only to find my game's main menu language has the same characters in the provided screenshots

It makes the survivor and special infected's flashlight brighter and more clear. (In Versus mode, special infected players have a 'flashlight' that is always turned on, allowing them to see in the dark.)

作者大大知道一种手电吗，我排服务器的时候遇到过。有点类似那个全白的，但是它那个光是橙色类似护眼灯那种看起来很舒服，而且去了开枪闪光，应该是我遇到的体验最好的手电可惜不知道名字工坊找不到

40+ mods, including this one: have not seen or had issues with "forced chinese language". In fact, in my 12 years of modding this game, never seen that issue at all.
