Obviously it uses teleporters. The Mees inf map base you mention is incompatible with this type of map. It doesn't work.
Teleporters do not jitter or lag normally. That's a vehicle problem. LFS and perhaps other vehicle types have always had problems with teleports. That's something they need to fix. It's not a map problem. SWV ships work fine with teleporters btw.

Yeha but it uses teleporters, ans is jittery and laggy ans vehicles don't work.for me it's weird

Nothing about the inf teleporters is broken. If by jittery you mean that it doesn't perfectly line up. It's possible to fix that in theory. But really hard to do and kinda not worth it.
If you mean LFS not working properly with the teleporters, that would be an LFS problem that LFS needs to fix.

Hello, the map keeps crashing G-Mod every time I try to load it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as disabling all other addons, yet it still will not load. Could an update have broken the map, like that time with Rp_StarDestroyer? If not, I'll keep trying to find a solution on my end. Thanks for your time.

Of course it isn't flat. It's the Death Star. It's not meant for ground combat at all.

Dunno what you're talking about. But planes aren't needed. There are plenty of flyable Star Wars ships that can fly perfectly fine in the map.

Thanks for the notification. I just checked and it seems like I used a Counter Strike: Source texture there. So if you have CS:s and load it in Gmod you should be able to see the texture.
If I make an update for the map some day, I'll fix the issue.

under the turret for me is missing texture. you probably dealt with this one before but i do not know how the fuck is it a missing texture and idk if its because of the star war vehicles

The ship I'm using simply functions more as a prop than a vehicle, (TARDIS mod,) but in that case why doesn't a prop keep its momentum? 🤔 Interesting stuff.

Thank you for your kind words. But the teleporters used to work fine with SWV. It's not really my fault if people use different vehicles that are incorrectly made and incompatible with teleporters. I don't think this sort of thing is something that should be fixed map-side. It should be fixed in vehicles. I didn't have any plans to update this map. But if I do, I suppose I can take a look at it. But I won't be updating this map for a long time. Got a bucket load of other projects as well.

Hi! I really appreciate the extensive love you've been giving this, keeping up with peoples concerns even if most would deem the people not worthy of their time. I'm sorry to ask, but for a map meant for flying, I seem to encounter an issue with momentum being lost during teleports?
I'm hearing of a brush entity that maintains momentum that's not in the FGD by default, but is part of the Source base code? Called trigger_portal. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Trigger_portal
Again, probably not worth your time, and if you don't wanna go through the effort to add it, that's fine, and I hope you have a lovely day.
(but in any case while the geometry is LOVELY to dodge and weave through, it's not much of a flying map if it doesn't preserve the momentum ^_^)

It's not my problem if LFS ships are shoddily made and bug out when teleported. Either use LFS ships that do have the teleport fix, or use SWV. It's not a map problem.

I have thought about a fading texture for map walls. But I still need to take the time to properly look into it.

I've seen some people add a warning texture that fades in when you get close to the edge of similar maps. Do you think something like that could be used on this one?

True, but the LFS vehicles I like to use freak out a bit when you teleport them, and the Towers are still a bit hard to see from some spots, especially if you like flying in first person or flying through the actual trench.
Again, don't get me wrong, its a super polished map, I just can't use it as advertised.

Then you should probably try the _inf version that has infinite looping teleports on the map edges. You'll never run into a wall.
But the main thing you can use to see the map edges are the turbo laser towers. They mark the edges.

That's not even possible. The turrets are made of brushes. Not models. And the textures are the same as all the other surface textures.
