I know i'm really late, but there is an unnecessary 80mb ModShaderCache.upk file in the mod's folder.

Thanks @Mr. Popo, I haven't tried it myself yet in WotC. I am not sure if I will be able to update this at all, I have unfortunately not been able to find the project source code files on my PC after my last OS install.

I know it is lame, and I am sorry, but I wanted to keep this up for anyone who is using this version or would like to going forward.

Works in WoTC. Sounds much more like HK-47 than the other mod. Enjoying it :partymask:

@TeranSpecialist, I haven't updated this since that DLC came out, so no, I believe that @DrDCB's mod does, but I haven't had a chance to verify that for myself. https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810557656 , if you are set on using this mod you can try using the instructions here to get pre-dlc voice packs working. Still no eta from me on when I will get back into building on this mod, sorry.

does this work for the spark too?
Winyra  [author] 27 Jun, 2017 @ 12:13pm
Sorry @mad_cat, did not see this until just now, Did you manage to get it to work? If not have you checked out @DrDCB's mod? https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=810557656 Haven't had a chance yet myself, but he seems to have picked up where I fell off.
mad_cat 3 Feb, 2017 @ 5:14pm
Having problems making this work. Does this require any DLC's? I've done everything I could to make this work, no luck. Other voice mods work, and other voice mods are having issues.

Going back to one of the older comments, I'd second lines from SWTOR. If you want, I have all of HK-51/55's combat barks already extracted (~150 lines) that would work for Xcom pretty much as-is. Also HK-47's barks from the Foundry and False Emperor flashpoints (~20 lines). There is also all of HK-51's conversation dialogue (~330 lines) which have plenty of gems, but would need manual editing. My hash list is a bit out of date, so I don't have any of HK-55's dialogue lines.

Hi Gibbons, I have been absolutely swamped by work and family issues over the past few months, I will see what I can do this weekend, I think I have a few hours free that I can throw at it.
Gibbons 27 Oct, 2016 @ 5:57pm
Can you update this really quick so that people can use the voice for SPARKS?
Winyra  [author] 10 Sep, 2016 @ 9:39am
Hydrorox provided this link in an earlier post. If I end up working on this again, I will update for native support of dlc.

Any chance that it could be made to work with SPARKs?

Please allow me to kill something for you.
Real SHC.Demolisher 27 Jul, 2016 @ 2:07pm
ok, *reading your recent comment* that makes much more sense. i wonder what those lines'll be since i never got far in that game (i own it but i never got very far, life got in the way).
Winyra  [author] 26 Jul, 2016 @ 5:52am
Id probably focus on the audio files for kotor and kotor ii before anything else, it takes a lot of trial and error and work just to rip the audio files, you then have to parse and organise them, only then can you start using them in the dev tools. When i have more fres time i will see what more i can do with this.
Real SHC.Demolisher 22 Jul, 2016 @ 2:38pm
add hk 51 and 55 lines (in seperate packs if optional) from star wars the old republic. (and hk 47 lines as well)

and wow 1:20 everyone misses but the high tech assasin droid! Nice.
Hsaelt 22 Jul, 2016 @ 8:08am
Where can I find all HK 47 audio files. I would like to have them so much.
Thanks in advance!
Hydrorox 12 Jul, 2016 @ 9:37pm
no problem :)
Winyra  [author] 12 Jul, 2016 @ 9:35pm
Thanks for the information Hydrorox, Appologies to all for not having the time to invest into this mod and the delayed response.
Hydrorox 5 Jul, 2016 @ 3:14pm
if you want to add this voice pack or any other to SPARKS, follow this guide:

someone needs to add this voice for the SPARK units
Jasina 4 Jul, 2016 @ 12:54pm
Any chance you'll enable it for SPARK units?

Afraid I have to officially put this on hiatus. My proffessional and personal responsibilities are taking the majority of my time at the moment and until things calm down considerably, I won't be diving back into this. Sorry to anyone waiting for a more well rounded mod.
Winyra  [author] 17 Mar, 2016 @ 11:33am
@Bob Uy
Right now it is only pulling from assets from KOTOR.
Sir Jia Xing 17 Mar, 2016 @ 2:25am
Does this also include voice pack from HK-47 in SWTOR?
Winyra  [author] 12 Mar, 2016 @ 7:35am
@GainsWithRay
No problem, yea took me some time to figure out!
Turd Ferguson 11 Mar, 2016 @ 2:46pm
Wow... Thank you so much! I spent countless hours looking through 8 year old forums looking for any program that'd do it but nothing seemed to work. I haven't gotten very far yet but WavePad at least is able to convert it to a format Audacity can use which means it should work perfectly.
Winyra  [author] 11 Mar, 2016 @ 1:42pm
@GainsWithRay
I got it to work using WavePad. Unfortunately haven't had much time to work on the mod lately.
Turd Ferguson 11 Mar, 2016 @ 1:25pm
What program did you use to decompress the audio files? I had hoped to make KOTOR 2 voice packs but could never find a program that would correctly decompress the files so i could edit and use them.
Winyra  [author] 28 Feb, 2016 @ 5:46am
@ur mum
Lots of trial and error getting the KOTOR files to convert to a usable format, then figuring out where the files you want are, and what they are called. For this you can use the KOTOR Tool, originally made for modding KOTOR, it allows you to look at the dialogue trees to find the file name associations. Your other option is to use speech to text conversion on an entire folder and output the association to a csv that you can open in excel or a similar application, however I found that this generated too many errors in translation.

From there its just a modification of the template voice tutorial mod.

I might make a more in depth post once I feel the mod is in the right place.
urmum 27 Feb, 2016 @ 4:10pm
how did you do this?
Winyra  [author] 27 Feb, 2016 @ 3:42am
Added a few more sound files and voice cues. I may need to rip the audio again as it is a bit soft in some areas and I discovered more lines and sfx for him, so lots more file sorting for me. Also uploaded a video showing off a few of the included sounds. Definately still have a lot of figuring out to do with regards to which voice cues should be used.
Winyra  [author] 27 Feb, 2016 @ 12:31am
Hey guys, sorry no update yet, my weekend just started so I'll be updating the mod in the next few hours and getting a video up, thanks for the support thus far.
DrGrouch 26 Feb, 2016 @ 10:32pm
Demo vid when?
bandit 25 Feb, 2016 @ 5:53pm
sounds awesome, gl!
Barrelmaker 24 Feb, 2016 @ 11:26pm
Ooh, HK-47 was one of my favourites from KOTOR. Will definitely favourite and check out when the demo video comes out.
ColeTron 24 Feb, 2016 @ 9:50pm
This is a good idea. Definatly include any line that includes "Meatbag"
Winyra  [author] 24 Feb, 2016 @ 6:04pm
@Lancelot, I'll be adding a video when I submit an update this weekend. Working on this when I can, which is unfortunately not as often as I would like. Thanks for the interest, meatbag.
ErdoGaming 24 Feb, 2016 @ 9:33am
If you had a video I would subscribe, HK needs to kill some meatbag sectoids!
