I don't want morphine without "automatic medical systems engaged"

I seemed to have found a way to fix it. First, you need GCFScape, open the VPK file with it and extract the files and placed them into your "my_custom_stuff" folder.

Guessing this just adjusts the sounds; There was a time where all these effects were added when they weren't in the final game, but now this is vanilla.

Is this working? Does it work with the H.E.V classic voice mod? What other mods is this incompatible with?

Really nice mod, but it completely disables "Automatic medical systems engaged" HEV voiceline when its supposed to be heard outside bootup sequence.

I no like how it removes the music but it's supposed to be an "Immersive Bootup" so i'm THAT mad

One of my favorite mods of all time, works great with the music that plays when you put the armor on, even works in other mods too! still works without needing to edit anything in definitive edition!

This mod is still working fine on xen engine. However, if you wish that everyone can use it without issue, then update it.

this mod need an update since the last update ... the release of XEN and 1.0 ahve corrupted a lot of mod since some of there code is no longuer compatible that ehy it crash the game .. i was proud of this mod cause i made the video .. the author accept my video as a presentation ... i know its nothing big but its a fun mod that give a bit more life in that HEV suite

Completly crashing my game when i put it on. Is this compatible with the Xen update?

@duddles this looks like a very nice mod and I would really like to use it but it breaks music that is supposed to play when picking up HEV suit (this has to do with current version of Black Mesa uses wav format whereas this mod uses ogg causing music to be missing. also, for some reason suit fells over as soon as I open its closet). Please fix this I would really like to use it!

A version of this that uses sh0kgaming's suit voice pack would be the coolest evar. @duddles If it's possible, could I get my hands on the various sound effect files you used? I want to make my own personal version of this using sh0kgaming's suit voice pack instead of the standard black mesa suit vox.

Would this work without having to type in snd_restart if you put it in the "custom" folder?

To me this mod isnt very immersive.
Just taking all the sci-fi machine noises in the game and just slapping them onto the HEVs bootup sequence isnt very immersive after you realize this. Wasnt immersive the first time.

The DOOM door sound the creator chose was the one the Black Mesa developers also put on the Gauss Cannon startup sound when you get it.
