Like the city would actually behave to how the enviromemt is changing (e.g. more electricity drain and less sun = less electricity from windmills).
This is all done through the first tab of the theme mixer menu. Or I might be missing something.

Even better is if we could make each season last x months so we can have long or short winters.

However, I am wondering whether anybody knows if this mod "messes up" natural disaster scenarios?
Background: I started the scenario "Tornado country" first and then discovered this mod later in the game. I used this mod to change the save game to a more realistic looking custom map theme (also temperate) but did not change the "base theme" where it said "temperate (do not change)". However, since then I do not experience any random natural disasters anymore.
Did I break my scenario with this mod or is there just a real long time in the scenario where now disasters happen?
