One last thought - the After Dark Vanilla Streets with bike lanes already keep cars from parking along the road but, as I said earlier, the car or bike then just dissappears as if it was beamed up to the Enterprise by Scotty. Very disconcerting. Vehicles don't really do that. Can you fix it, do you think?

. Cars just drop off Cims at high rises, houses, work, and metros, then dissappear. Can a mod be made that would make the car either drive back to residence it came from (in the case of metro drop-offs) or park in a parking lot nearby (in the case of cims being dropped off at work or home).
. Same question about bicycles. Cims jump off bikes and the bikes dissappear. Then the same cims come out of the building and the bike reappears (Scottie-Beam-Me-Up Style). They should be parking them in (and later collecting them from) a bike parking space.
. Would you ever consider making a mod to fix this discrepancy in the Vanilla game? Is it even possible?

Any mod to forbid car disappearing when Cims go walking ?

Many cars never park, just go on the sidewalk and disappear... :/

I'm making the mod not to remove all on-street parking but to control on-street parking. In the mod, each police car removes nearby cars parked on the street, and collects the fine. You can configure the amount of the fine by district. The bigger the amount, the less on-street parking. If the amount is 0, the mod don't control on-street parking.
I wonder if I should provide you it as the updated version of this mod or a new mod.

@Mas71 美観やポリゴン数を減らせる以外の影響は多分ないです。幸福度や交通量も関係ないです。このMODは、道路が両脇に木のある駐車場所のないタイプだった場合と同じ挙動をします。車が駐車スペースを探す際に、道路には駐車スペースがないことにしてしまうだけです。
取り締まりMODの方は、パトカーが近くを通ったときに路駐車両が消えるとともに罰金収入が入る、罰金額を設定で変更できて額が大きいと路駐が減る、最大なら全く路駐がなくなるし0なら取り締まりしない、みたいなのを今のところ考えてます。地区別に設定できるようにもしたいですねえ。

路註取締りからの収入は面白いアイデアですね。
もし可能であるなら取締り具合を段階的にでも指定できて、それが実際の路駐車の表示数にも反映なんて出来たら素晴らしいですが、、何はともあれ楽しみにしています。

@Akira Ishizaki You shouldn't change any of existing meadata (like district struct). In that case, your mod will become extermely hard to be compatible with. Just use your own metadata (SerializableDataExtension) and your own panel for toggling policy. It won't break anybody's save game.

Maybe it's possible. But I must effect your savegames to make this a district mod. (like Traffic++)
I don't want to take risks of breaking savegames.
But, if there are many requests, I may try it.

Could you create a mod together with a building asset to get parking fee for each parked car like that old (incompatible) mod from that chinese guy?
He used the vanilla transport building asset, too huge I would say.
The idea was great but unfortunately it stopped working months ago and he didn't update the thing.
