Does anyone else have a problem with disconnected bus lines with this asset after the new patch?

@ Avanya Thanks for the reply. I applied someone's solution here and added a 1u road around and this fixes it. Also has the added bonus of having another spot for a bus stop x) Thank you for this asset by the way :)

@Mazl: I've had that occasionally, but I have no idea what's causing it and I haven't tested to see if it's mod related or happens with no mods too.

Does anyone else have the issue that vehicles come and go over invisble roads if the bus stop is just in the proximity of other roads? There's 4u space between each respective road and they still use the bus station as a shortcut. Cars are banned at the station and buses on the other road, does nothing.

If you do not have this asset, GET THIS ASSET!

This is a great bus station that fits anywhere and helps the line system (as opposed to a loop system).

I wish there were more small footprint "stations" for train, metro, etc. Thank you for this.

This is my new favorite bus station for most intracity transit. Works perfectly. I wish CO would design a way to keep cars out of bus stations, but even in vanilla, cars drive right through the buildings. So nothing you can do until they fix it. Thanks!

I believe so. I think I have experienced very funky behavior of the buses several years ago with this station when I have placed it maybe with anarchy on or something else not as intended. The buses were going between those two trees.

@stevieinselby: Probably not. I had a ton of issues getting the paths inside the building to behave and work at all, so I think I might break the asset by touching them again. Maybe if I have the time at some point I'll try and see if I can improve things, but no promises.

I really like this, but is there any way you can set it so that buses can turn either way in/out of the entrance. I find they will only turn left (driving on the left) in and out, which means lots of driving round in circles.

Love this - so useful and looks good.. Today it looks even better with the unexpected appearance of bench seats and old-style street lamp. Don't know where they came from (as the only plopable bus stops I have are this and those in the base game) but THANKS! (I checked the Change Notes and the dates don't indicate a change between yesterday and today.)

I love this mod and think it is really cool.

I use it constantly as a small bus exchange where i have a couple or more bus stops on the same road. It's small footprint and the recessed from the road, so that there are not masses of pedestrians queuing by the side of the road waiting for the bus.

my only regret is that it is 5x4. if it was 4x4 then it would find even more use on my housing estates. :steamhappy:

I like this very much. I have noticed two strange, but tolerable:-) things:
1) The soil under the bushes is too much gloomy like a wet land or glass.
2) Buses like to take a ride between the bushes to get to the platform. But the solution is to move the building a bit (one square or so) along the road. This happened to me with regular street, not an avenue or so and when buses did not cross the street.

@ToxiGames: When I have more time, I'll look into removing the need for After Dark. I've spoken to Bloody Penguin and it is possible to do without me having to redo the whole building, I just haven't had the time to figure it out. :)

@arenegor: Yeah, it doesn't work that well with very wide roads, but I think the default one from After Dark is the same. At least it had problems with crossing lanes to get into it. It generally works best if the busses can right turn into it (or left for driving on the left ofc).

If you have [cannot find path] problem, place this mod beside 2 lane road which is connected to a load so it can return.

It did not cause the problem which happened when I was using 4 or 6 lane and helps to make route short and not cause traffic jam due to buses because it has extra space for them and can go to any direction.

This is exactly what I was looking for, however I'm only getting one stop per station. I have MTS enabled. This is the first time I've tried to use that mod in game so it could be an MTS problem. Just wondering if anyone has a solution for the same issue. Thx Avanya for the asset and tia for any help.

I love this asset; I use it all the time all over my city. Wherever I have a metro station, I have one of these.

I've learned a few tricks to overcome the pathfinding limitations. I'll post some screenshots soon of how I like to lay out my roads around the bus station.

It works - it doesn't work as great as I'd like it to, but I have no control over the game's pathfinding (that's programming, which I don't know how to do). It can be annoying to get the lines to connect, but it definately works. Here's some shots from my city using it. The blue lines [i.imgur.com] behave the best and are on a one way road. The other hub [i.imgur.com] misbehaves alot more. Seems keeping it away from corners/intersections is the best way to go.

@ctcatuga: It seems to have become more fussy with bus lines the last few updates. I've noticed it as well. You can try placing the last bus stop before completing the line a bit closer to the station and in a way so the bus won't have to do left turns to get there (right for lefthand traffic). Messing around with it is really all I can suggest here. When I get the time I'll try and see if I can improve on it, but I doubt I can without breaking the asset completely (everything is very compact). :/

I think this asset looks amazing, and I really like it, but I'm having an issue with bus lines. I can start a bus line on the building - just as with the large vanilla version - but it does not allow me to finish the line. What I mean is, I can't connect the last stop to the first stop to complete it. I hope that makes sense. Am I doing something wrong??

@234t234: Whether or not CIMs take the bus has nothing to do with the asset, that's in the CIM ai, which I have no control over.

i find the bug about this asset .mybe the priority is too high that all the people have to drive here and take the bus here then go to the destination that will make a huge disaster

@GordonDry: That has nothing to do with this building - it has to do with the fact that the bus roads from NEP don't create zoning by default (Notice how you can't place any buildings there). The "No pillars" mod can force zoning, which will allow you to place buildings on that road, though service vehicles might be restricted from using the road.

And in the future you might want to try a bit of troubleshooting before posting a comment like that. If you'd tried to place the default bus station you'd see that didn't work either, meaning the issue isn't with my asset.

@Holy Crab: I will not be changing the size of it. It isn't just as easy as stretching it. I'd much rather spend time on creating something new. And considering the style of this one it does make sense it isn't made for the trailer busses. ;)

hi, that's a really cool mod, but i would sugest that make the asset a little bit longer, so that it fits for those trailer busses. they just stop like a in curve. maybe i can do it, but i don't know how get the other stops working, i know that i should use the 'more network stuff'-mod and the busway and busstop tracks, but i don't know how to get them to work. i hope you know what i mean.

@FLip: This asset shouldn't be able to affect bus spawning - there is no coding added. What mod are you using for Multi-track stations? Also what other mods do you have that affect public transport?

Just wanted to let you know that this asset causes bus issues in my saves. If I make a new line after I plop this bad boy down and finish things up, the transport info says that it's trying to send buses to the line, however it remains on zero.

If I make the line regular, let the buses dispatch, THEN add your asset and move the line to use the station it works great! I think part of the issue is any buses that have two parts. I think sometimes the second half glitches and gets stuck on your asset and it doesn't let anything through.

Yeah, I know crime and workers was connected. So I've set garbage and workers to 0 now and we'll see what happens. The buildings having issues might need to be replopped to solve the problem. Please let me know what you guys find. :)

I doesn't produce much garbage, but I can try and set it to 0 and see if it fixes it. Sadly that prob won't fix Gnarf's propblem with dead people piling up.

I know it can look that way, but like I said. There's no code with this asset that should change the behaviour of the garbage trucks. It is also not the fact that it's producing too much garbage or that garbage trucks can't pick it up - if that was the case it wouldn't be a problem for me to reproduce the issue. But I just can't. I've tested it in several cities of different sizes, but I have no issues at all.

You can try and send me your save and a list of the mods you use, then I can have a look and see if the problem persists for me. I can also compare the mods you use to the ones I use and see if that might be where the issue comes from.

Well, this conclusion is maybe some too soon, because the fact that it is the only building having this problem, is, to me, an indication that there is something wrong with this building ... :) I have different road structures around each of them. If I can, I will do some testing. .

The fact that only 2 out of your 3 are having garbage pile up also tells me that it isn't the asset. If there was an issue with the asset ALL should have problems all the time. The ai for the garbage collection isn't good, so one truck can pick up garbage from one building and ignore the 2 next to it.

DK115: There isn't any code with this - it's just a building. I can't say what's causing carbage pile up for you guys - I have a ton of mods (NExt and TMPE among those) and I just can't reproduce the issue. I've had garbage pile up a bit, but then it gets collected.

I never mentioned T++, but I do think that lots of traffic in the city plus the ai for collecting trash and dead people is most likely the reason for these issues. Or a mod that I'm not using myself. As the issue doesn't seem to be with my asset I can't do anything I'm afraid. You can try putting some kind of garbage facility closer to the bus station and see if that helps.
