Everytime I reverse the wing pistons the ship crashes or goes crazy

i suppose you could. there was a script that allowed you to control fleets with a simple AI. was posted several months back, but i can't seem to find it now or remember what it was called...

Just a brief confirmation that this awesome ship is still operational (Even after all the updates the game has seen in the meantime)!
No problems with performance of the ship or the ship breaking apart either. :)
I only had to adjust the positions of the hologramms for automatich assembly (vertical offset: -3, horizontal offset: -4 and forward offset: 1) to get even that back to work.

I would like to try this ship as a carrier: Is there a way to turn the current "guided missiles" into small fighters that defend the carrier ship?

The simulation speed is 1.00, and the FPS ~50. I have trouble with performance rarely. When I'm turning, the ship's speed is zero. The piston's head break off, when the dampener reduce the rotation. It seems I'm unlucky. Maybe I convert the ship to a fix wings vessel.

beyond that, you may have to spawn each missile, disconnect it, then form your own blueprints where you are the owner and replace the projections.

1) don't turn at high speeds. lag can also break the ship, so if you aren't moving while you turn, it may be due to that. as has been proven throughout the comment section, some people have no problems, while others invariably do. all i know to blame this on at this point is computer performance, in that system lag may cause it... beyond that, I really don't know. I have re-tested this ship several times with no issues except at high velocities and in multiplayer.

2) i would assume it has something to do with the ownership of the blueprints themselves. I haven't messed with blueprints enough to know, though i might recommend only owning the parts of the ship that you need to for security and control.

1. When I turn with the ship, the wings break off. :(

Nope just started my own private game, spawned in the blueprint, then jumped when out of the gravity field. On the other side of the jump the right side of the ship broke off. Tested it 3 times and the same thing happened twice, while the third time both sides came off.

i haven't been able to break off the wings by jumping. However, i have had reports and experienced myself that the wing will sometimes break off when spawning the blueprint. This seems to happen rarely, though, as when i spawned the blueprint a second time (and all the times i had spawned it before), the wings were fine. Such is the nightmarish nature of pistons in this game....

Are you playing in mp? lag will make the problem much worse.

i appreciate the offer, but i prefer to focus on things and never spread myself too thin. By that i mean that i stay somewhat active on the KSH forums for ship talk, but most of my community focus goes towards the lore behind Phoenix stuff and working with people there. With that combined with real life and the time i spend developing new designs, i doubt i would be much of a contributing member to your community.

to spawn the ship use your blueprint menu Ctrl+B select it, then hit Ctrl+V
