Really impressive balance of color, contrast and overall ambience.

Best LUT ever! Colors and light are very well balanced. Endorsed :-)

TOO REAL FOR ME

¡Gracias!

@I love Pancakes : this LUT does no effect in the fps.
@Blackdragonbird : I noticed the same, and I totally agree with your remark. Next time I'll be ware ;-)
@Max : Some asset sets (for instance UK residence) have an already softened palette of colours, and then this LUT makes them dull brownish (I noticed since Snowfall extention). This LUT has been tuned for the original set of buildings as came with After Dark. So I can see you point. ;-)

Can this boost fps or just destroy it? I have the worst graphic card (am so bad at choises, there was a alienware cp which costed 899 pounds, exactly the same as this cp which had a radeon graphic card and a i7, i cry in my bed now)
Blackdragonbird 26 May, 2016 @ 8:43pm
Would be great if you guys that make these LUTs use the same name to the LUT page AND the file of the LUT. This one is called Realistic Warm in the game, it's a mess to organize them if you have too many. Only a suggestion. =)
b0nk 13 May, 2016 @ 5:41pm
Brown ≠ realistic
Cenobite 11 May, 2016 @ 5:40am
Thanks for the shout @Yeol, your work on this is muchly appreciated.
Yeol  [author] 7 May, 2016 @ 6:42am
Thank you very much, @Manu. Personally I'm still using this LUT after many hundreds of hours game play. Every other LUT keeps me kind of unsatified. I'm very happy with this colour set. It makes the game so much more real and believable. Thank again for the compliments, and also thanks to @Cenobite, @grizzbear and @matthewcouto. ;-)
manu 7 May, 2016 @ 1:58am
+1. Excellent idea!. deep nightly colours and vibrant warm sun set or rise lighting.
manu 7 May, 2016 @ 12:31am
@Yeol Without any hesitation 100% agreed. A thumbs up and subscription. By the way thanks for the LOT.

@SPACETACKLE, I agree that nights are dark, but not matter which LUT you use, building during night is always annoying. It's too dark to see what you're doing. So I prefered to have beautifull and deep nightlighting, then dull those grey-ish nights. I build with the night/day cycle disabled or time stopped during daytime, and cruise arround in one person with the day/night cycle enabled. This has two advantages: building is easy and clear, and discovering your cities keeps being spectacular with deep nightly colours and vibrant warm sun set or rise lighting
Cenobite 1 Mar, 2016 @ 3:54pm
Perfect.

I actually cannot play CS without this enabled now. I honestly thought that Snowfall added new, more realistic buildings but it turns out I had just enabled the this mod for the first time after installing the DLC. I love it!
Yeol  [author] 22 Feb, 2016 @ 12:28pm
Once you installed and enabled a color correction lut in the assets/mod manager, you need to select the specific lut from a list in the options menu after you loaded your city. Did you do both?
Captain Soap 22 Feb, 2016 @ 12:22pm
How do i enable this LUT?
If i just switch it in the content menu to on, it won't work!
Tropical Guy 12 Feb, 2016 @ 2:40am
This mod is wonderful!!!
JoshInSpace 5 Feb, 2016 @ 1:52pm
This is good, however my gripe is that it restricts gameplay at nigiht as It is a little too dark.
Darkener 23 Jan, 2016 @ 11:32am
This is the only color correction i use. Great realistic color balance and nice contrast. Recommended.

I cant get this to work either, i dont think its your mod though as i cannot get any lut to make a diff on my game.
BloodyPenguin 7 Oct, 2015 @ 10:39pm
@Vetinari Another option you may like is to use my Daylight Classic mod that brings back pre-AD sunlight color without any LUT color correction. It modifies light source itself. And thus, makes all pre-AD LUT work properly.
Yeol  [author] 7 Oct, 2015 @ 9:07am
I'm glad you found a sollution to make it work. Enjoy the game with new colors. Happy building! ;-)
Vetinari 7 Oct, 2015 @ 9:05am
...I did just manage to enable it.
Enabling the mod, loading a city and then going back to the main menu did the trick. (Otherwise it would not show up in the options.)
This is embarrassing. :I

Either way. Good job on the mod.
Vetinari 7 Oct, 2015 @ 8:59am
Hm... Enabling it did nothing. But I tried to use another LUT (the Mirror's Edge red theme), so it might be on my end... in which case I'm really sorry. :D
Vetinari 7 Oct, 2015 @ 8:56am
Yes. Latest patch, day/night cycles, but I didn't buy the DLC. I'm playing on Cliffside Bay (European Theme, default). If you need more information, just ask.

I'll also try to run the mod again, just in case I did something wrong. (Although I don't think so.)
Yeol  [author] 7 Oct, 2015 @ 8:54am
@Delta, LeoCerantre & Priyon, thank you for your positive feedback. I'm glad you like this color correction too.

@Vetinari, do you mean that with the latest patch (that came with the new night/day cycles), but without the After Dark DLC, the colors with this color correction are not as they appear on the illustrations? Is that for all climates, or for a specific climate? Do you use a custom map, or a standard map? I like to have some more informatio before I can confirm your observations, and evalulate how to make a vanila version (if needed).
Vetinari 7 Oct, 2015 @ 8:27am
I really dislike the colors of the base game, and this mod looks fantastic... unfortunately it doesn't seem to work if you don't have after dark :I
Any chance that we'll get a version for vanilla? Pleeaaasseee?
Delta.w.p 6 Oct, 2015 @ 12:20pm
awesome simply the best Color Correction ...
thx !
LeoCerante 1 Oct, 2015 @ 5:36pm
Man, this colour correction is absolutely fantastic! The one I've been looking for since day 1. Thanks!
E 30 Sep, 2015 @ 6:30am
This is amazing! It looks simply perfect during the night-time. One of the best LUTs I have ever seen.

Kudos and well done, Yeol!
Зарастроика 29 Sep, 2015 @ 2:56pm
Hm, good to know! Good luck~
Yeol  [author] 29 Sep, 2015 @ 2:10pm
Thanks for the tip, Зарастроика. For the moment I'm playing without mods (to get some achievements), but later I will certainly use some mods to improve traffic flow. I'll look into this one at that moment.
Зарастроика 29 Sep, 2015 @ 10:45am
Hi Yeol, I saw your video and you can use this to put and end in the only-one-lane huge traffic~ It will make the traffic disperse between all lanes uniformely, looks and feel realistic and it's a must-have for towns when it gets some size·
Yeol  [author] 28 Sep, 2015 @ 9:50am
Thank you all for your positive feedback. And to everybody who downloaded, tried out, used and /or gave me the thumbs up, thank you very much!

@Noobich The Kitten, I made expecially for you the CC LUT called "Less Dark Shadows & Less Blinding White". Look it up, try it, and if you like it say so. Otherwise, don't hasite to say what's wrong, and I'll remove the CC LUT, so it wil not clutter this archive any longer.

Eenhorn Flonkerglans 28 Sep, 2015 @ 12:50am
A many thanks for the work! : )
Country Lakes 26 Sep, 2015 @ 9:30am
