When it still worked the last I used it, this mod was great. CS is not very hard, and this made me actually be able to bankrupt a city, so I love it.

Since it does feel pretty broken atm, I am hoping for an update sometime. If not, then so be it, but would really love to experience that difficulty again.

This is like the BEST MOD (well, the working hardcore mod with wealth for citizens to lvl up was also veeeery good), I love playing on impossible with realtime and realistic population. It's so hardcore and helps me staying intrested in my city! Also, deathrows are fun (you think you can survive: here we go with 4 million in dept and trying to get out of this by 27 % taxes for all xDD) LOVE IT!

Awesome mod! Feature request: would love to be able to control interest rates on each loan individually. For instance: since Pyramid Capital is a 50-year loan when set to 10x, I’d like to set its interest rate higher. IRL, even if you got a loan with 2% annual interest, compounded yearly, after 50 years you’d be paying 169% of the loan amount in interest.

It would be nice to be able to adjust specific expenses like making healthcare or police costs more expensive but lowering park maintenance upkeep etc

@Zenya - could I ask you a few questions? Your mod has inspired me to do a mod that makes the Campus Life and the Industrial DLC's actually mean something in-game to those that have them. Right now they're basically graphical fluff. If you could answer a few questions it would be super helpful. Let me know. Thanks!

Oh I see now. @Zenya - do you think you could fix the pollution slider? My guess is there's a typo or missed character in the code so it won't hook the pollution changes you set. Or if you could tell me how I can open and edit an existing mod that's just a dll I'll do it.

Love this mod. It makes the start of a city pretty interesting. For me, money isn't ever a battle late game but it makes me stop to consider what I am doing before I blow 500k on a new freeway.

It was the super demand mod it was conflicting with. I imagine any demand mod will conflict with this!

Just a heads up that I'm getting an issue I narrowed down to this mod. A conflict perhaps with another mod that results in NO ONE being able to move in to any building/into the city whilst this mod is active. Removing this mod instantly fixed the issue so I figure its a conflict with one of my other mods.

I'm investigating and trying to figure out what the conflict is. At the minute I have no idea what's causing it.

Hey Zenya, for some reason it doesn't seem changing the Construction Cost for Others affects terraforming costs, my Others cost is 50%, however the terraforming is still base price. Is there something I'm missing?

Landvalue upgrade threshold presets could probably use some tuning. I used this mod to replace vanilla hard mode, turning it off and setting this mod to advanced, which claims to be similiar to it. But when I loaded up my city, buildings across the land were mass upgrading. Even when I bumped it up a level from advanced to hard, it still happened.

Is this completely compatible with Green Cities, including all the new policies? The mod didn't get updated after the Green Cities and ChirpX updates, so just asking.

not like i wasn't enjoying them before...i was just cheating, so i was unable to fully enjoy. Small cities are boring to me...no highways, no high density, limited in a lot of assets. I will probably try a city from the start without unlimited money and using this mod...I am hoping it will add an even greater challenge so I never get bored with this game (at least not til next cs2 comes out)

I put it on challenge (with some minor changes, so it is now 'custom'), but also turned on unlimited money to start (it makes the game more fun for me, city thrives quicker, and you can always turn money back on with the same amount that you would have had). I was $77 MILLION in debt lol...but eventually got back in the green, around 55k population was when i was able to turn it around. Sped up the speed and slowly got back out of debt, now I am really enjoying the additional difficulties to the game that this mod brings. Great work :)

damn this mod is amazing. With the disasters and heating i am really struggeling to keep the City alive. But it makes the game more fun.

I should add that I'm using network extensions 2, move-it, city vitals, road anarchy and tmpe, to enable more micro-managing. That probably makes things easier.

This mod breathes new life into the game! You need to set the time acceleration to 3x and go make a sandwich, but that also makes proper decision making and budgeting vital.

Impossible mode is really impossible, I think. I couldn't break 3900-4000 population for days, but the incinerator and high-density residential zoning comes in at 7700. So I caved and set it to Challenge. So far it seems perfect (no plateaus).

It's difficult to say about economy realism in this game. :)

If you have build 1-2 big cities already, I think "Expert" is good. Not too easy, not too hard.

Except changing the denamd, this mod does absolutely nothing to prevent people get in the city. It just changes stuff like costs and so on.

This happens when your city is not properly connected to the outside with road. There should be roads for both entering AND leaving the city.

If this didn't help, it may be mod conflict.
