I put my purifier on poluted ground. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH MY CITY IS ALL GONE. Why did yall have to do that?!:steamthumbsdown:

@sonti - This one is discontinued because the broken update of this particular building. Please use this version instead.

For the safety of everyone's save and mine, this building will be discontinued along with Serenity.

However, they will be re-released as new contents. So you might want to unsub the old ones and resub the newer ones but you need to replace them as the old ones will disappear. Regardless, the old discontinued ones will not be deleted nor updated for any possible updates to come. :highlvl:

I must have built mine on polluted ground becuase it knocked out a good 20,000 people.

I think the purifier generally works fine, however, do NOT build it on polluted ground! Nearly 30% of my city's population got sick and died in a matter of minutes. I hope I had read the comments sooner :(

@TS_Mind_Swept - By default in the Content Manager, contents in Asset tab will not disable the achievements despite how overpower the custom buildings will be. While the Mods tab will do so as you can see the description about it down below.

@Dr.Love - If you look closer to the pipe, you can see Blue and Teal parallel flows in one. Blue is water and Teal is sewage.

@Dr.Love - One or more pipelines should be ok, since the pipe itself seems to have separated flows between clean water and sewage. If you have an exit end for the sewage, in this case, Purify, it should be fine. My own experiment is down below in the comment.

However, if you don't have the treatment at the end, the sewage will start clogging altogether.

Although I have never tried the situation that if the sewage gets to higher level than the treatment, I am pretty sure that once I build more treatment, the sewage will be treated shortly.

Thinking of downloading this mod, but I'm curious, since it treats sewage, but also provides clean water, should I only worry about one line of piping to each house/building that needs it, or should I have two reaching all buildings? I'm just wondering if one pipeline is enough, considering that seems to be my main problem with plumbing.

I placed them in my industrial area just like in Sc4 for example.

Ok, I re-tested it. This is the condition.

1. I used a big town with no mods. After, I planted all the Purifiers in a large number in a clean zone. After they were all fully functional, I deleted all existing vanilla pumping stations and water treatments.

2. So now, only the Purifiers were present in the town.

3. I led the game ran for a year. The result is rather satisfying. The health rate never went down and the sewage pollution was never spread.

So I declare that this building is safe enough as long as you don't build it on a polluted ground. Let me know if it is otherwise, thank you.

@sonti - To be technical, this is a water tower that provides water from the ground and removes sewage through nothing. It does not purify sewage water since the game/asset editor would allow so much. Did you happen to put them near the industrial area?

@bernie - I have tested for a while, there's no such problems tho. Did you happen to build them near polluted area (noise, ground, water) like what @Aien Aristeuein mentioned?

somehow everytime i build this my entire city gets sick. and ive tried different city's and each time the moment i build this the citizens get sick and start dying. not sure what that is all about
