Hey, I have an idea for a mod where the event-spawned advisors that are 50% cheaper would be highlighted to show that they're different from the regular ones. After digging around in the game files I noticed there is a "discount=yes" flag to differentiate these, but they have the same appearance to the player. Your mod gave me an idea, so I looked through the files some more and noticed another flag called "female=yes". I'm assuming you accomplished what this mod does by setting that flag to "no"? My point being that my idea right now is to set all discounted advisors with the flag "female=yes" so they'll automatically get the silver border instead of gold. Do you think this could work? How would I go about accomplishing this? I'm a modding novice but would love to pick your brain. Feel free to message me or reply on here. Thanks!

Uh, the patch is called "Women in History",the female advisers are real people who held positions similar to what the adviser position emulates in the game. So, not impossible, no.

This was actually impossible for the time period the game is in. But EQUALITY!

Lol i would do the frame of men silver and that of women gold, because it was ten times harder for a woman to achieve an adviser position because of social restrictions, which means the women who made it were ten times more intelligent than the average person. Thus gold frame for women silver frame for men. But again it depends on the region and culture, some areas or cities women had a lot of power and were in rich positions in others they werent allowed. Anyway it is a game a lot of things in this game arent historically accurate, and people who when about it, only shows that nowadays equality didnt reach society.

In the sense of history Paradox might choose the right way. I think it's bloody stupid having a discussion about equality and what not about a game like EU4 - at the end it's a fucking game. By all equalism today (which is not feminism) they need to keep it in sense with the scenario.
Nice to have this mod but I don't see a point for installing it.

Playing as the Ottomans, and having caucasian advisors is so outright silly one cannot take that aspect of the game seriously.

The females advisors should have a huge debuff during their ''time of the month'', every few days at the end of the month a diplomatic rep advisor would go from +2 to -5. In exchange they will be significantly cheaper than the male adivsors.
