This is my favorite asset. The matching incinerator is my second favorite. I hate pollution in my cities. I have never had any problems with it. The only thing I would change is just to make it a tiny bit smaller (foot print wise) but otherwise an awesome asset.

This is the very first Cities Skylines asset I ever downloaded and yes... the rest of everything you built bullettMAGNETT. I am not able to duplicate the problem reported either on three computers and six games, but wait long enough and someone will prove it. Can anyone take a screen shot?
All settings and configurations are perfect with fire hazard set to 0 and resistance set to 20 so don't see any way there could be an issue with the asset itself... It would have to be the game itself. Even so... an awesome asset to have.

@MorpheusXII @wishfulanthony ; The building is working fine on my cities, this is one of the buildings that i always use and so far they have always worked fine.

Remember guys, this is NOT an incinerator, IT'S a landfill.

So it will fill up and stop working. If that is happening to you, then you need to empty it.

@wishfulanthony : Just to clarify, not one of my buildings changes the code in any way, i use the default game tools to add the energy requirements and all the stats. With that said, what you mention should not happen, it could be that CO updated their code on the buildings when they released ND, and that could be causing the bug. Cant be sure, please test out some other landfill assett to see if it happens too. I will test it out when i get home next week and see what i can do. Thanks for letting me know. :)

I'd like to write a concern about this building. As of late, when I install this landfill on a city, all of a sudden, the garbage production and distribution line suddenly goes offline that the other incinerators I place after putting this structure goes offline. It happens especially after I place one of these structures, in which the subsequent garbage facilities end up saying "not operating". Is there something wrong with this file that it overrides the garbage collection system?

[NW] Mortiseraphim that indeed seems to be a bug, but not sure if its with the model, never had a landfill catch fire before, i will make it fire resistant so that it wont happen anymore :) as for that patch of nasty burnt landfill. hmmm not sure what we could do about it :S

Found a bug (i think): I had one of these on a one way road when starting a newer city and the fire dept couldnt get to it so it accidentally burnt down when it was emptying to another facility (77% full). Now it is a permanent pile of burnt rubble that cannot be bulldozed or emptied. If only I could put a tarp over it or something :P

@Densing omg, that pictures pure sweetness hehe I'm probably going to release maybe one more vehicle this weekend. I'm just experimenting with ideas atm, and seeing how they look in game. Getting the sizes right so that they don't clip on parked cars and the sort. @0gichi well i'm glad you love them :) . As for the colors, not sure yet, i will explore colors but probably for other buildings.

@Mujo88 holy cow 200,000 lol ok let me know how they work on a brand new city. All my cities are around 70k So i would not know how they work on numbers abouve 70k :P

Thanks, CIty right now is 200,000 pop. No traffic issues. I will begin a new city to test it with your assets alone without vanilla garbage buildings.

@Mujo 88 Hey i was about to go to bed, but i will test drive both buildings in a brand new city when i wake up tomorrow. From what i've read, the game does have a garbage problem. Something to do with the AI collector trucks. it might and might not be that causing the problem. How big is your city?

Personally i get some garbage problems with vanilla buildings too, that's why i made my custom buildings in the first place :P

One thing that can halt your garbage collection is traffic. I once had a horrible traffic problem and basically the trucks never managed to do a full cycle. That was with vanilla buildings of the game.

Try this mods with my buildings. Let me know if they still don't collect.

Thanks for the reply. I have enough water & energy for a dozen of them each. I tried 2 each. After trying out this Bio-reactor & the atomizer, my city's garbage stopped being collected. Simulated it now for 2 years & still same issue. they show as being "not operated". I removed them & put in a few of the default game's landfill and despite trash being collected again, 2 in-game years worth of simulation it hasn't removed the piling up garbage problem.

@Mujo 88 they should be working. I've been playing with them on my cities and they work fine. Remember that all of my buildings will use more water and energy to compensate for not producing pollution. Do tell me what is wrong in your game so that i can test it replicate it to see if there is some sort of problem.

-If you run out of power or water, they will not work efficiently

just a landfill alone would be enough , lookin at the size 20 million storage orso would be great , i jusrt put it next to the atomizer , i did see that your electric cost where 11,4 kw or something that might be the problem .

@Wastingpluto533 yeah, i've been testing the building out and i have the same problem with the -14mw and not being able to empty it :( not sure what is causing that but as soon i get it fixed ill be uploading the update :) Thanks for letting me know :) @banishedGT thanks again for your support on my other models. as for the bug, i'm trying to find a way to fix it :)

Works great so far, as previous users say, the only problem is not being able to 'empty' out the facility because the button itself can not be clicked on, fix this please. :)

i tested it and it says power production -14 mw wich is alot . when i close the building i get my 14 mw back so i think its still bugged

lol a cheap way for garbage disposal is fill this up till maximum capicity of 10 million and then destroy building and make a new 1 haha you cand destroy landfills but you can with this 1 .

@NotTheMama i see what you mean, i will fiddle with the numbers and test it out ^_^ Not sure about making it longer lol tecnically speaking this building is around 104m x 92m :P which if im not confused its the bigges possible size :P The trash goes inside the structure and underground to a deep equal to the height of the structure ( conceptually :P) ( the noise replaces the Smell pollution it would probably give out :P thats why i added the noise hehehe. As for the ground i think the value is 1 or 2 . Is it leaking?

well the incinerator/Atomizer is the upgrade for the landfill.
but if u use it purely as a landfill or want to make a complete garbage park.
i would double or triple the original landfill stats like u did with the Atomizer.
and drop the incinerator stats.

ow and like i said in the previous post: make it bigger with a landfill attached to this building

and then to give u an idea for the next building in the garbage line.
a complete recycling center ( landfill / incinerator combo XD )

what numbers would you give it to make it a better companion to the Atomizer. I want both buildings to work together. At least on my gameplay i usually have a landfill for storing garbage and the Atomizer eliminating it ( i might be doing it wrong lol) From your numbers i think people ditch the landfill when the Atomizer or Inicinerator are available lol (am i wrong? ) :P

i think the numbers are off to justify placing it in the city.
1. capacity is fine.
2. placement price is to low
3. the energy use is way to high
4. water is to low.
5. processing rate is to low.
6. trucks are to low.

i know it a landfill replacement but with current stats its hard to put it down over the atomizer.
since all the ST buildings ( which everyone should have anyway ) are unlocked from the start.
just made some calculations to give u some direction to stats.

12 atomizers ( took them as example because of the reasons above and 12 of them to get as close a possible to the 10Mil capacity)
Cap: 9.600.000
water: 4992
energy: 4608
processing cap: 1.152.000
power output: 144
trucks: 324 ( i just had to include them because of the insane amount XD )

give us a reason to plop this down ( besides the looks )

PS.
just some brainstorming of me:
make it way bigger like 8x16 or something ( including to this building )
crank up the Capacity , placement price higher.

@BlackPower, It should not be better than the incinerator D: (I mean yeah it has incinerator properties) but it should be an alternative to the Landfill, with minor Garbage Processing. It does Store more garbage but it will process it very slowly. The Atomizer should be the replacement for the Incinerator :P. /// ok now back to the numbers : I played safe with energy (i have to admit that was not sure how much could be much). Originally the energy upkeep was going to be around 40 MW but those configurations x 0.016 gets confusing lol. So energy use will be increased, water spot on :) I will Increase the Noise Accumulation and reduce the Noise radius a bit too :) Thanks for the feedback ^_^

Considering this is allot better then the inceneration plant it should require more, the energy should be a little higher maybe like 37 because it does use 5,7 MW, the water usage is pretty spot on, maybe make the noise pollution a little high as it is completly removing the garbage and it produce's very little pollution so it would have to make allot of noise but apart from that its good

@Black Power Tellme, what numbers you consider being low, i personally think i might have put the energy requirement a bit lower lol. on the other hand Entry prices is quite cheap, becuase the facility prevents garbage leakage. But it wirll require lots of water and energy to keep doing it :P . Give me some feedback on those numbers to round them up with other suggestion and make an update :D
