I like the idea Unforfuantly have to honestly re-edit the parameters are say it produces 1250Mw however in build section it reduces it to 0-20, i had to change power parameters for electricity up to 4250 and that still only nets 0-76... Still can see it alot more unique then a massive windfarm along the ocean. +1 for awesome vision!

Honestly I'm not too worried about it. It just seems to be an issue for a lot of people. But I especially wouldn't worry with this as a person should only have one or two of them anyway. Thanks for the reply though.

You can build over water. Use Mod Tools to change m_placementMode to OnWater. Not sure if the model is displaced to the water surface automatically though. i definetely spent more times looking for objects in the workshop than actually playing the game... damn you, modders!!! ;)

i really like that object, but right now it is exactly as efficient as the wind turbine, but costs way more and pollutes the environment. so the only reason to place it in your city is for optical purposes. for myself i made it 5 times more efficient than the turbine, while cost/maintanance is only 4 times as high. so as a player you will have to make that sort of "moral decision" between green energy and moneymaking. think about it.
if you like, i can upload it to the workshop (in my opinion, it should always be allowed to post stuff here, as long as you honor the person who created the object in the first place)

awesome just what the game needs.after the naval base you're talking about which will be awesome also.you mentioned other suggestions.here's one that may be up your alley I've been waiting for someone to create skyscrapers under construction with cranes on them like you see on a cover for city skylines I know the cranes wouldn't work but if you had several different buildings under construction it would make the game look pretty realistic and I see you've got the talent for making cranes and and other features that would be needed and a half built skyscraper.thanks again for the awesome work

It can indeed be placed in the ships tab.

Simply base it on any of the ship assets, then open it in a hex editor, search for the string m_placementmode and change the byte (in the hexadecimal) directly after the string ends it to 02 (it should default to 01).

@aubergine18 People need to know, its not possible to put it under Ships tab since then it act as a harbour and can only be placed at half of land (Between the land and the sea). Therefore I have decided to put it under electricity tab with wind turbine as its based.

Shame it can't produce cargo (like an oil industry building does) and act as a cargo ship yard - that way you'd get ships sailing out to it to collect the oil which would then be send to local industry or sold to external customers. Would also seem more logical to have it in "Ships" tab.
