Reminds me of that "MTV News" globe that rotated backwards, yet few noticed.

I think your compass shows just the opposite position ,as the sunset position it shows East, the sunrise position it shows West.
However, you will notice that the sun will rise from the West and set into the East in default compass setup when playing with default themes (no custom themes selected) and many of custom themes. To mitigate this, you can set the offset dir. to 180 (180 degrees) and the sun will rise from the correct "East".
This mod came since the begining of Cities: Skylines. The game does not have day and night cycle yet at that time. The North the compass pointed to is "Map North".
However when the cycle has been impremented by the publisher since After Dark, they may overlooked this and misplaced the sun's pathway in the default themes' setup. (The theme setup has the latitudal and longitudal setting to let thememakers decided where the sun should rise, including its right ascention and inclination.) So we have to ajust the compass accordingly.
It's not working with Parklife the new DLC.
- Let me have the compass rose/spikes without any letters
- Auto hide the thing when I hide the UI, if I really want it in a no-ui shot I'll reenable it myself
- Maybe a bug, but you can't close the options menu except by making the compass appear and clicking the center, which is annoying if it's hidden but auto-show is off.
it only Shows up for me when I am scrolling the Map and turning. I like this Feature.

Fukk I am damn too STUPID to get this s*it with modding in my brain (if there is a brain :D )
If anyone is interested to take a look at this Mod and maybe can update it for us, here you are, just comment And I upload them to whatever you want :(
Wish I could just get a bit coding into my mind!!!
I am so depressed, I wish all others are Dead :D :D :D
A workaround for the sun going from west to east is using the Time Warp mod. Change the longitude to a negative value and the sun behaves normally again.
