Fundamentally, the statistics presented are useless. This may not be a problem with this mod but a problem with the game itself. If the game reports bad data, the mod can only pass along what it is given. Or, it may be that the mod is misidentifying the statistics that it is reporting.

The Death_Rate, Birth_Rate, and Influx_Rate do not add up to the change in population.

Simply, Change_In_Population = Birth_Rate + Influx_Rate - Death_Rate.

The time period for Birth, Death, and Influx rates are per week. Population is reported in total population for the week being reported.

For example, a particular game I am playing, shows

Birth_rate = 477 persons/week
Influx_rate = 466 persons/week
Death_rate = 130 persons/week

It is obvious from inspection that the change in population is positive, specifically 813 persons/week. But, the population is shown to be falling, rather drastically, This is generally apparent whatever the values may be.

This just doesn't work.

This mod was released on release week. There have been lots of statistics added in the last 10 or so expansions. I would be surprised it worked at all in the last several years.

But the source code is listed for anyone wanting to make it work.

@NOiZE I had a problem yesterday while I was playing the game. I run this mod and looked at my population change. Everything is fine until I click "City Value" and then the game itself stops responding. I don't use this mod a lot, but I don't understand why that occurs and it makes a bit concern.

After the parklife update i cannot resume my game after i opened the statistics, it will remain paused no matter how often i press play :-)

@Xebtria After the Parklife DLC was installed, including the free update, strangely whenever I ran my game, the game screen size is much bigger. For some reasons, the button for mod doesn't appear when I am playing the game, but it does appear in my menu, along with the Option, Save Game, and Load Game, and etc. I don't know if it has to do with the update or my game driver update, but though it become a bit inconvenient, at least the mod is working.

Great! However: seems to bug/freeze the game when checking for budget/value/treasury if the unlimited money mod is enabled.

Awesome little mod. However I should mention that the button is visible while in the asset/map editor. Small quirk but nothing to sweat over.

I wish I can use this at the same time as Rush Hour mod. But unfortunately, the graph calculation is based on the date from Rush Hour mod so I can't see anything since I played for a couple of hours and my city is 10 days old only while the graph is showing the city progression in years time.

Seems to work fine for me with ND.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the timeline, ie so it measures by month instead of years?
I'm using the Rush Hour mod so one year takes a looooong time.

It does unfortunately freeze game and only a restart will do and you lose everything since last save.

I'd be stunned if it didn't. The code in this mod is extremely uninvasive. I know there have been reports of a freeze sometimes, but I've never been able to reproduce it and don't have enough details to go on. :( It seems to be really rare, though.

If it doesn't work and someone comments, I can take a look. I don't really play this game anymore so I don't check this very often, but I do want to keep this alive. :D

@Dreamwalker Luna: This mod just adds a button to more easily access existing statistics (otherwise accessed via the pause menu).

Can you add a function for seperate day and night statistics? That's the only thing I dislike about the addon, I have no clue how my city behaves during the night (traffic slows down, time for garbage trucks, but more criminals during the night?)

All those informations would be really great to calculate the budget needed during day and night.

And could you add statistics for criminals and fire?

useful mod, but the button sometimes appear under the another button. and disappear. Can you make changable button location on screen.

Hi folks! I haven't verified that this works in after dark myself yet, but I would be beyond shocked if it did not. The small amount of code contained in this mod is extremely safe, so it should not cause any problems. If it does, please let me know and I will do my best to try and find time to fix it.

Doh, I knew that'd happen sooner or later. There's only so many good spots to put new buttons. :)

Apologies for the radio silence - the past few months have been nothing but 60+ hour work weeks, and that's going to continue for awhile yet. I still don't have enough information to track down the freeze that some people are seeing, so until I get more information (computer specs, what other mods you're running, any-frickin'-thing really), I can't do much about it. :(

If I can find the time to see about repositioning the button (or some other similar solution) I'll try to do it, but I really can't promise anything until like, October. Yeah, I know.

Ah, just a heads-up: It somewhat conflicts with the CSL Stats Panel mod. The button for both interfaces is in exactly the same place in the UI and the CSL button is placed on top of the Statistics one, thus making the latter inaccessible. In any case the statistics graphs are still accessible via main menu -> city statistics so it's not really a problem at all.

Working perfectly for me on 1.1.1c. The only thing is that it doesn't unpause when I close it but all I need to do is press space and that's it. Thumbs up.

If the graphs could show import/export per product I'd cry in happiness :)

When I open the stats using your mod, the game pauses and won't un-pause and also it makes the game possible to quit without hard reboot.

Issue: once opened it pauses the game and won't unpause, and after I save and exit to reset thing the game hangs while trying to go to main menu...after force close the most recent save is lost...had this happen twice really annoying to lose work done.

CSL Stats Panel overrides this mod's position. Right now can only use one. Aware of this?

Everything should be fine with this mod, I've been using it myself without issue. If you encounter a problem with it, please try disabling all other mods first to see if it still causes problems.

The code in this mod is extremely innoculous (it's mostly just rearranging CS's original code) so I'd be surprised if there are any issues. Of course, I'll be happy to look into any issues.

Hope you can update this soon for compatibility with the latest game update (patch 1.0.7b). A lot of mods went broken after that patch was released.

I put it on for the new map I started and I could swear it didn't break this mod in the beginning of the game, only later on but I'm not sure...

Had the same problem with this mod as with the pause after load mod (http://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=408905948&searchtext=pause) :

It just suddenly stopped working.

There hasn't been any patches or the game hasn't been modified in any way. These two just stopped working over night. I don't get it. Any help is appreciated. I have other mods also loaded which continue to work just fine.
