@zeus57007 See my second to last comment. You don't like it, don't use it. That simple. These patches exist purely for those who want to tailor their Rimworld experience how they want.

dawg... why are you making the zombie-like xenotype inspired by the clicker zombies... not zombies? You gonna take the claws off the saurids, or get rid of their lizard voice? You gonna take away the deathrest gene from the vampires, or make the werewolves not turn into werewolves?

@krazyfan1 Modifying how the Gene Infector gene works is a bit beyond my ability atm, but I did create a patch that replaces it with the vanilla Gene Implanter. Check it out here: https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3435626742

You are free to not use this patch if you are fine with fungoids being unable to improve their skills. This is entirely for those that want to be able to experience the fungoid xenotype without this limitation.

Good change, won't be getting this one though, since getting my pawn turned into a fungoid is supposed to be a bad thing for that very reason.
