It wasn't exactly this mod, but quite close. The logs available in vanilla. Normal, rainbow and stripped wood. But they have the appearance of this mod instead of vanilla. Yellow wood is spawintem only, and metal wood is turned into blocks.

um, i should hope not. what exactly do you mean? do they have the art from this mod too?
MithranArkanere 2 iun. la 23:25
Is this integrated in another mod?
I don't have this isntalled but my logs already behave like this.
Major Poison 4 nov. 2024 la 19:17
what are the yellow logs?

I take it I have to sub to a mod that adds metallic tree saplings?

Was hoping to make a farm for these logs.

nvm, i seem to have found some metal saplings from those with flowers on em

you need the FU patch to fix that incompatibility. it's in the description
Steve 18 aug. 2024 la 12:14
Seems like you already might have heard this: Incompatible with FU and causes a full crash when loading.
Noirmint 8 iul. 2024 la 10:40
how 'bout arcana?
mothbeanie  [autor] 28 iun. 2024 la 19:46
i've updated the mod with sprites for the logs in those three mods :]
Genbu_Serafino 27 iun. 2024 la 10:34
also would be cool if you could resprite fuelwood from betabound
Armok 26 iun. 2024 la 20:09
You know, it'd be neat to see this mod have support for the K'Rakoth and Project Ancient Cosmos mods (as they both add in their own wood types). No need for any external patches either, as you can support them natively from your own mod here.
mothbeanie  [autor] 18 iun. 2024 la 22:37
alright, it should work with FU now with this patch! https://sp.zhabite.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3270747631

Well i think that a side version for FU may be better than change this ones IDs,still i think someone should tell them to keep their ID table on check to avoid issues in the future with other mods that needs IDs
Silver Sokolova 18 iun. 2024 la 9:41
Average FU moment. You could also make an FU version so you don't have to change the mat ID's for this mod
Good Game 18 iun. 2024 la 6:10
Tip: You can edit the wiki page and add your material IDs.
mothbeanie  [autor] 17 iun. 2024 la 22:39
it looks like FU also uses material IDs 22001-22006, but they didn't claim them (or any IDs nearby that they also use) on the starbounder material ID table so i had no idea that they used them. if i change the IDs now it's possible it could cause problems for people who have already installed it and started using it, but i only released it a couple of days ago so it might be OK? i'll look into this tomorrow when i can

not compatible with frackin universe unfortunately, crashes if both mods are loaded.
Noirmint 17 iun. 2024 la 2:44
wonder how 'bout frackin universe compatible. (ex. energy wood, golden wood)
also, it's dope - keep working!

Silver Sokolova 16 iun. 2024 la 19:25
heck yeah!! no need to be sorry, thank YOU for doing that!!
mothbeanie  [autor] 16 iun. 2024 la 17:39
Whoops! Sorry about that. They should be compatible now! And I added treated rainbow wood per your suggestion, thank you :]
Silver Sokolova 16 iun. 2024 la 1:28
Hi! I'm the author of Betabound. It crashes with Betabound because I also enablerainbow wood using the same item renaming method as yours because there's an unused rainbow wood block in vanilla which is basically treated rainbow wood. Your mod doesn't have treated rainbow wood- just the logs, with the same item ID as Betabound's.

We can fix the incompatibility! I've renamed mine to `rainbowwood.matitem` so SB overwrites yours with mine due to your mod having a low priority, but that makes the item use Betabound's sprite and description, and be placed as treated rainbow wood rather than your unrefined logs.

Personally I recommend having your mod load over mine so players get your rainbow logs instead. You can do this by putting the following in your mod's metadata file to make your mod always load after Betabound:
"includes": ["XRC_BETA_STARBOUND"]

I think you should also add treated rainbow wood since the spritesheet exists in the game already!
theja 16 iun. 2024 la 0:35
apparentally betabound adds rainbowwood too and it crashes if you have both at the same time... can we get a version that only retextures the possibility of rainbow wood instead of adding another
