Just released a new RF, WS CDLC & AEGIS real names update!
*Thanks to Axle for the initial work.

> Rotators Collective released new updates to Reaction Forces and Western Sahara CDLC. Renames are up-to-date with the new content.
> AEGIS received updates (alongside ATLAS and ATLAS - OPPOSING FORCES). This update also keeps up-to-date with the new content.

Hello ! thanks for your work ! the chopper in reaction force is a AS532/H215M Cougar, 225M is another helicopter, bigger with a different tech 5 blades main rotor

> Added Mod Compatibility for all AEGIS mods.
[Arma 3 Aegis, Aegis - Marines, Aegis - Police, Athena, Atlas, Atlas - Opposing Forces, Revolución] *Changed all their fictional 2035 naming for weapons, attachments, and vehicles to their real-life counterparts.
> Also added a compat patch for "Campaign Compatible ACE (works w Old Man too !)" since it still uses old ace realisticnames module. *Might be best to load this mod at the very bottom of the Arma 3 Launcher modlist so it doesn't get overwritten by anything.

Edit: Patch 6 Hotfix 1 (06/03/24):
- Renamed to change the "SPMG .338" turret mount for RF Pickup to "LWMMG".
- Renamed "CZ 581" to "CZ/DT11 Drake". *This shotgun is a fusion that is modelled after the Beretta DT-11 but with elements from the CZ Drake.

Realistic Name conversions for Western Sahara and Reaction Forces CDLC (vehicles, weapons, attachments) are currently being worked on. Thanks to Axle for the guidance. Might have them out by the end of the week. :jake::steamthumbsup:

it's a really nice mod!

I wanted to add to the discussion about the MX though; it was actually designed by CMMG for Arma 3. That's why there's a CMMG ballcap headgear option in game. I know someone linked the wiki page for the MX but I wanted to say that since it was designed by a real firearms company, it's distinct enough as its own weapon that you could get away with calling it the MX, especially because it fires caseless rounds compared to the XCR and ACR which do not.

Funny looking into it more. The Offroad is the Isuzu D-Max and the successor listed for it closely matches the MOOSE pickup truck for Reaction Forces CDLC. The Colorado D-Max. Bohemia must really love these series of vehicles. Because the predecessor for Isuzu looks like an Arma 2 pickup as well (Isuzu Faster). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isuzu_D-Max

Ace3's module doesn't seem to have the Offroad listed in their files so I might have to try manually adding them. As for the MX series, I guess I could rename them to be "XCR (3GL/SW/M/C)" though I guess it was off-putting for ace3 team to use that because of how MX is labeled on the rifle itself.

There's quite a bit of stuff that ace3 team hasn't renamed other than the MX. Like the Offroad is an Isuzu "D-Max". Wonder if this mod overwrites the one in ace3 so that I could try out these changes. :jake::steamthumbsup:

Yeah I saw that video too, the rifle is amazing, just too expensive but very modular and up to date on all its features and capabilities. I will mod the MX to be renamed to XCR because it is too similar to that

Well, if you look at the picture of the "XCR-L" it is 95% exactly like Arma 3's MX while the Remington "ACR" is quite different in my humble opinion

I never thought the MX was the ACR. That was an actual gun before the MX.

"Inspired by two real-world rifles, most notably the Remington "ACR" and Robinson Armament's "XCR-L" assault rifles. Co-incidentally, both weapons were a part of failed tenders designed to be replacements for multiple service weapons in the U.S. military."

I'll just keep it MX since it's a mix of 2 weapons. Same reason ace3 keeps the name for the ASP-1 Kir since its a mix of the Russian "VKS" and "VSS Vintorez" sniper rifles.

Blackfisch deserves the credit. I just added the small updates from recent aces and maintaining it for him now. Maybe I'll figure out how to change and add in WS and RF CDLC naming though.
