What am I missing here? From where I sit, clicking one subscribe button is a helluva lot easier than fiddling with mod managers and trying to figure out what folder certain files go in. And it's right here on STEAM, where my actual game is located. What could be easier than one click? I see no inconvenience at all, thus your apology is not needed. Thank YOU for making your mod available on STEAM though. I've marked it down for future use. Cheers.
if you want to take the risk of getting malware on youre computer get nexus mod manager and get youre mods from the nexus I figured out it was MY OWN FAULT for having a conflicting load order or mod conflit I LEARNED THE HARD WAY Ive reinstalled skyrim itself multiple times well over thirty trying to figure out modding without a manager is like being blind trying to find a needle in a haystack but once you figure out NOT TO INSTALL MORE THAN TWO MODS AT A TIME its a lot less frustrating then you can build a list of mods without out having to worry about which one conflicts because you'll know that you just cant use the new one with the ones you already have its a pain IN THE SWEETROLL.
"Be Excellent to each other"
The BASIC extra encounters works fine. I only mod through workshop, unless I have no choice since it's tedious and I don't wanna fuck my game up doing it manually. The mod should work fine through STEAM. That is the whole point to workshop.
Otherwise I did recently convert the Steam Workshop version to a master file, so that could be somehow causing problems. I'd ask you try out the Skyrim Nexus version since people have been using it for ages without issue, but judging by your comment on the other page I'm assuming you wouldn't exactly be in the mood to do so.
In any case, until I get other people experiencing the same problem, I have to assume it's an issue on your end. Sorry.
Here's a link to the description on Imgur. Hopefully it should work fine.

Woohoo.
As always if there are any problems with the mod, let me know in the comments. If you wanna see the changelog, you'll still have to visit the Skyrim Nexus link in the description, because the Steam Workshop still won't let me set up things the way I want them.
Also if you have a question, please make sure you've READ the FULL description on the Skyrim Nexus page. I know that it's annoying to have to click on a link just to see the description but seriously, it's just one click. Also read some of the recent comments too, because the chances are your question has already been answered.
The .esp flagged as a master method is used most notably for all of the Unofficial Skyrim Patches, and it works just fine. Despite being named .esp, Skyrim still load it as a master, high up in the load order, because that master flag in the header is what the game looks at, not the file extension.
I should probably edit the description to make that a bit clearer....
I will definitely DL once the posted bugs on nexus are fix'd, till then the old version still works like a charm if you don't spam skyrim with random mods hehe.
I have no idea if they're compatible or not. Sorry. If you use the C.S.P. version, then place Immersive Creatures and Monsters Reborn underneath in the load order, it should all work fine.
And - you can load in a load order to NMM from the same text file.
When you load back in NMM adjusts the load order to match the text file.
You may notice, if you decide to try, =1 or =0 against each file name in the text file.
The =1 means activated and =0 deactivated.
Hope this helps you.
Basic spawns encounters through Skyrim's existing animal spawns,
C.S.P. spawns encounters through customly-placed spawns,
and H.S.R. increases the encounter spawn chance for Basic (but if C.S.P. is enabled, H.S.R. will increase the spawn chance for the custom spawns too).
