- Yes I do plan on updating this for 4.0 but New Dawn takes priority.
- No I don't know when it will be ready after the update comes out
I'm trying to make sure I'm not screwing up stuff on my end when its a compatibility issue between New Enclaves and another mod.

Yep, that does provide some insight. I'll take a look at the code over the weekend!
On a hunch I tried the same save again with the same result (no interaction option on first contact leading to a crash when closing the window).
I then tried the save but this time I changed my policies and went from robotic workers and AI rights outlawed to allowed and AI citizen rights and this time first contact worked. I got an interaction option and concluded first contact without a crash.
My thinking is that outlawing robots/AI is the cause for the issues, maybe a lack of options for non-spiritualist outlawers (I was playing xphobe, fanatic pacifist).
Anyway, thanks for your great work and I hope again this was in some way helpful.
Thanks for getting back! Yeah, whenever you get the chance, I'd suggest narrowing it down and talking to the dev in question about it.
In the mean time though, make sure you're running mods that are up to date or at least confirmed to work with 3.14.159 :)
This time when I finished first contact with Prime Machines I had an interact option in the intro event and there was no crash. Unfortunately I will not have the time in the foreseeable future to troubleshoot further to see what mod-interaction might be the cause of having no option in the intro event as that seems to be what causes the crash, not the machines themselves.
Hope this at least was some help.
As with the other one, are you using other mods with New Enclaves and does this problem happen with only New Enclaves enabled in your playset?
It´s a shame because other than that the mod is fantastic and it would be a shame to have to play without it.
Simplest way to figure out if its New Enclaves or something else is to create a playset with only this mod enabled.
If it crashes then its this mod.
If it doesn't, then you probably need to go through your mods and figure out which one is the culprit.
I just updated it the other day to fix the crash with determined exterminators. What other mods are you running?

Mod is now perfect with no bugging problems to the 2 new space faunas

Yeah it probably was the first contact stuff. The mod was missing stuff related to the new wild aliens and stuff so I just added that in. I'll try and get it uploaded tonight or tomorrow.
Hmm, yeah I'll try and take a look asap. There shouldn't be any conflicts but I guess I missed something that the vanilla enclaves use related to them.
Are you absolutely sure its New Enclaves causing the issue? I can't imagine anything with this mod touching anything added through the Grand Archive. I can double check once I finish up 3.14.15 compat for New Dawn.
First contact with the "Void worms" is currently stuck on stage 1 and keeps on repeating
Pity have to take this mod off for a while until the modder comes back and sees what is bugging with this mod and the 2 newest space fauna

Thank you! This was one of my favorite non-total conversion mods when it was originally being handled by 24 and I wanted to resurrect it for everyone else.
I am still working on the mod. I just updated some code that was out of date and I just asked for some help from Metallic Hydra from More Enclaves to take a look at the Prime Machine code.
They shouldn't be spawning so I don't know how you're running into them now
Alright, good to know. I'll try and start taking a look at things tomorrow. I think worse case scenario I'll just disable the Prime Machines until I can fix them properly.
