Is there a way to make the mod work better with other mods? I'm having synchronization issues when playing with friends. Also, as I mentioned before, I'm having problems with the Necrons — the species seems to disappear. The population number remains, but it's like a ghost species, becoming unproductive and causing instability on the planets. Additionally, after a certain point in the game, some buildings like the Necron tombs disappear.

No, unfortunately not, you can unsubscribe from this mod, it will remain legacy v3.14.

great mod ! Its seems there is a problem with pain drinker origin, the start system is not isolated from the rest of the galaxy road like it is told in the description.

Oh you can use vanillia , but they will be oblitarate by the loyalists orks and deamons pretty fast.

Its intended to be play with 32 34 empire all w40K .

Also the species rules of the ai has been change to extermination by defaut (exept few of them), you still have the diplo mallus, but as everybody do it it s not a problem.

Each player of a w40K stellaris game with Grimdark has to adjust the settings of the game to the roleplay wanted ( and it can take time and make few start to see how it goes ), also big maps can have 1 to 3/ 32 empires "Stuck" withj a problem , and need to be adjust too

it s very far from a trad stellaris game and you need to know few consol command to fix things

G marceau: Thanks! One other question, is this mod incompatible with vanilla races? They seem pretty under powered compared to the modded factions. I started a run with the Imperium-great crusade and I had like 2k science at start of game.

Tyranids can recruit guardsmen and servitors,: this need to be fix it s not intended.
leader portraits disappearing once in game : I know this also need to be fix
Mechanicus species mass killing : Do not use the any mechanicus portraits for now

Theses 3 bugs are related to the w40K portraits and will be fix as soon as we understand what s going wrong.

(even i consider them as heretics, and you know what i am doing with them)

G marceau : I tried adding those mods you listed and it just broke my setup pretty bad. Tyranids can recruit guardsmen and servitors, leader portraits disappearing once in game. I would love a working mod order list or something.

Been trying to start a Necron run with the Necron Awakening Origin, but every time i do, it replaces the entire population and immediately crashes out the economy except for the abundance of energy. But my pops are gradually dwindling (no name pops) and being replaced with C'tan

Galius Julius : What origin do you use ? what map are you using ? What portraits mod are you using. And what do you mean by Phanom GLA workers (Servitors ?).

I ve never seen this in the last 20 games (all with grimdark)

Hi FirePrince, your mod made me return to Stellaris! I was wondering how to play the Necrons. When I start a game with them I am loosing 25 alloy within the first month. I gather thats due to the C'Tan Leader upkeep which I can only add as a council member but cant dismiss as a leader, leading to a quick end of the game due to lack of alloys. Any pointer would be welcome. Thanks for your great work!

Actually all requirements are soft, the mod can be standalone. I suggest a de-sub and re-sub.

What is the map you use ?

I will make a cleaner version of the list.

For the name problem (if you have system called unknown and a crash when you click on it ) it can be fix in vanillia with a mod that had more star name.

Turning the game from stellaris to a w40K univers can be tricky, the game ressist !

@G marceau : your list still has the UI overhaul mods. Also, I am having a crash when I click on a star named Xir. Instantly crashes my game everytime. I am currently trying to figure out how to delete the star through console commands

Individual Necrons start with the Synthesization tradition tree, and it kinda breaks them and turns them into undesirables

Nother bit, loaded my necron save to play the next day, All necron pops replaced with , an organic pop that hates me. New necrons are being built but no matter how far back i load a save all my pops are now blank undesirables

bro trying to use this latest version 3.14 and it doesn't work at all. completely broke, only 1 or 2 potraits load, nothing else works. anyone know whats going on? or do i need to downgrade a version?

I've just downloaded the mod, but I can see only few custom portraits (i.e. can't see necrons, or aeldari). Is it normal? Another question. is this 3.14 version sufficient or i need to use the original all that is Grimdark mod too?

I would like to report a bug,
On the screen where you can pick prescripted empires it shows the Imperium of man and the leader portrait is the master of mankind but when I spawn this empire in game its just a commissar or a high lord of Terra. And just another minor thing I've noticed is that portrait in question of the master of mankind is not sellectable in the edit empire page. The mods I use are the 30k/40k factions, 30k/40k factions compatibility patch and all that is grim-dark this one here.

I figured id bring this to your attention because I don't believe its intentional. I would also like to thank you for keeping this wonderful mod updated.

lore wise yes it wouldnt really be hyper accurate, but gameplay wise its more compatible overall, and if someone wants lore accurate imperials they can just make lore accurate imperials

Idea for the God Ruler origin
instead of doing funky things via events to give you a second species, why not just make it so that it allows you to create a second species akin to how the shroud rage origin works. i think it would definitely be simpler and more straightforward, also allowing for greater player choice when designing their empire

@FirePrince That's weird. It has happened consistently at year 10 in my last 4 attempts as Necrons. I have nothing enabled that should affect this mod, it's mostly UI stuff and Shroud? I'll do more testing.

Actually the Great Khan shouldn't have anything specific to do with this mod. A specific shipset is also not defined.

Is the Great Khan Event supposed to always trigger for Necrons? Using the new Machine shipset? Also, why?
