why did you change/nerf snecko's second eye, it was so fun the way it was before, even if it was a bit overtuned. would like to see that effect come back

I guess I'm going to need an explanation of what the intended strat to win is, because even when I come in with a deck I think is broken as hell, I never even come close.

@Missingno. The quest bosses are not intended to be on par with the heart, they are an optional challenge to entertain minmaxing a character, notably having their ascension split at A20 rather than slowly getting stronger with ascensions, this is because they drop their secondary items on A20.

This issue with the omega, i was fairly sure had been patched already, however on checking it seems i had forgotten to change collector to use the fixed power, a new update of bundlecore should be available soon which corrects this issue.

I have to echo that these quest bosses need massive nerfs. I gave up on trying to beat A20 Collector and now I'm just trying to do it on A1. But after a dozen attempts I still haven't even come close , even when I get some insanely busted deck.

2640 health, plus a ton of block gain, and way too many minions to kill too. Omega procs after my block is removed at the start of a turn, and Suffocation is direct life loss, so that's just 30 HP a turn that I cannot block, can't do anything about it. How am I expected to scale up to almost 3k damage while on a very strict time limit because it's literally not possible to block?

Is this just meant to be unwinnable with anything less than an infinite? Is that the design intention? Because I don't understand what else is expected here. Compare this to the Heart, which is already supposed to be hard as hell, this is way overboard and does not feel fair.

Okay, so it's just a "you lose if you didn't build a specific archetype" check. That's good to know if I ever consider taking the quest relics again. Honestly, really brutal design given that taking the relic already comes with a run-long downside.
I wasn't sure how I was meant to deal 300 damage to it when it has 10 Buffers, a stacking block formed off of barricade and plated armor, all while not dying to the Shield and Spear at the same time. In the like 3 turns it took me to kill Shield and Spear, Gracedia was already so setup that I needed to dish out almost 400 damage to avoid the ult with the condition that my first 10 hits were going to do 0 damage.

@IceMaverick like the regular guardian fight, Gracedia has a big attack, on ascension 20 its an instant kill, so you cant stall the fight and need to knock her into the ball form, you want a build that has immaculate frontload so something like a searing blow deck or a typical silent shiv combo deck is on point, a TTH watcher infinite also works.

As an extra note, things like wraith form wont spare you from the death attack either, you get hit with an incredibly hard debuff from the attack (A20).

It felt like a really cheap, unavoidable death to an A20 run that was otherwise going basically flawlessly for me. I was already fairly intimidated about having to cut through like 2.2k HP (which is its own topic of discussion btw) if I was having to fight this thing solo, but the buffs and pure statline on that thing literally seems like it's not even intended to be killed and I basically just threw away the run all the way on Act 1 by picking up the relic.

Alrighty, so after getting absolutely ass-blasted by a 1400 damage attack, I have to know: What is the intended method to fighting Gracedia the Guardian? She spawned in the same fight as the Spear & Shield twins, so I already have some divided attention to handle those two. By the time I finally get around to being able to actually focus attacks on Gracedia, she slaps me with an 87x17 attack that I frankly can't see any possible way to get out of unless I found a source of Intangible somewhere along the way to here.

@EinZwei i dont think you understand how the relic works, its tier changes with the mod count so its power level is consistent, whilst the individual mod count only provides tiny changes in values.

As for friendship scarf, it got buffed recently to not proc on turn 1 because i had been getting complaints it was trolling.

Friendship scarf is probably one of the most powerful relics in the game; this isn't a bad thing and it requires certain cards to make it work, but when it works you can do things like infinitely loop Vaults, get an Impervious on command, etc. With this in mind, I legitimately think it should be a boss relic that makes you discard 2 cards instead, or if you want to lower its power the card gets shuffled into the draw/discard pile. This makes it less likely that you'll go infinite with the specific OP card as it's 2.2x as likely to discard and it gives it a genuine downside in making you draw-negative instead of neutral with a powerful car.d.

Hi! I really love this mod, but I have two nitpicks about particular relics.
Goldloader REALLY sucks from a design perspective; it's cool in theory in a 4th wall breaking sorta sense, but in practice all it does is incentivize a player to stock up their mod list with useless mods in order to build up the gold you get to the point that its better than an old coin, but if they don't then it's the worst relic in the game and you'd rather not have it in the pool to begin with; when I had a small curated mod list, it only gave me 98 gold.

@WolfWhiteFire Issues from coding while tired :( I had accidentally copied conditional energy from another relic in the mod.

Should be fixed now.

"A Little Letter", a relic from Evab, didn't actually give the extra energy it was meant to in my run, I still only had 3 per turn (double checked, I had nothing reducing energy per turn). Might be a bug if it is replicable.

Ngl should ask darkglade if you can import the serum W animation from his mod for the use of the serum W relic whenever you have 250 or more strength
