@Skeletor Thank you for telling me this method. My friend has also encountered this problem in other mod before, and I had to guide him to manually write a descriptor file to solve the problem.

fixed it my security software flagged it i turned it off to download then turned it back on and it fixed it

tried downloading this but the launcher says its missing a descriptor file?

yeah I fixed the problem by deleting the launcher and reinstalling it after praying to the omnisiah. then it just fixed itself so.

@greatswizard I'm sorry, I can't provide you with accurate advice on the launcher. A painful fact is that the paradox launcher, as a project involving multiple workgroups, has numerous incomprehensible bugs.
This mod only changed some interface parameters to adjust window layout, it should not cause launcher problems. I can only suggest that you delete this mod and then delete the ".launcher-cache" and "cache" folders in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\
I hope this can help you.

I downloaded this mod and it somehow fucked up my paradox launcher.
10/10 would do again.

Man I was freaking out, why the Galactic Community Button and Window was all sorts of effed up but then noticed this patch was just put up. I was playing my game and I guess you uploaded it while I was playing, I took a 3 hr break and came back and was like...tf. Lol, all good.
